So I threw into my slow cooker -

a few chicken thighs and legs
bit of curry powder
2 chicken oxos
can of lentils
can of butter beans
cut up courgette
knob of butter

let it cook on high for a few hours.

Scrummy and easy!!!!

i wasn't following any recipe, I just literally threw in what i had in the house that seemed to go - that's why I said like Jamie Oliver, who just seems to throw things into his recipes.

I can't actually think of any famous chefs I admire, that I could say instead!

I don't think people have ever cooked like that. Jamie was the first.

Not if slow cooked. Slow cookers make crap meat devine and tender.

Help!

What's happened to me?

I've started speaking with a mock cockney accent, and using the work "pukka"

I saw an ep of Jamie at Home last week and he said "pukka" swiftly followed by, "blimey, that slipped out, i haven't said that in 5 years!"

Sounds like he's tried to stop saying it after getting mocked so much
