Does anyone know if their is any easy cure to the above TV sometimes switching itself off-=it may only happen twice a week, but is still annoying, thanks

There's a modification for some Sharp LCD's for intermittent grounding of the inverter module - essentially replacing the mounting screws with ones containing shake proof washers.

After it's happened so many times the set will shut down permanently into standby, and needs the error counter reseting from service mode.

Don't know if it's your problem or not?.
