heinz products
recently i had some heinz products after a long time without tasting them - tonight i am having spaghetti on toast.
Is it me or have the soups and spaghetti got bland? Even with salt and pepper i couldnt taste much. I remember when i was younger, it used to be really tomatoey - even the colour looked more insipid. |

I used to love tinned spaghetti as an alternative to beans, but it doesn't seem to be the same anymore.

It seems that this is happening to everything nowadays - thanks to the desire on behalf of these companies to appear to be making healthier produce (removal of salt, sugar and taste). I wonder how long it will be until their sales hit rock bottom and products like these are discontinued altogether.
I'll stick to cooking my own stuff where I can, that way I can have as much salt or sugar as I want. |

I haven't had Heinz spaghetti or soups for years. The beans taste the same as they always did...I think.
