Rachel Stevens going solo - predictions, please .....
Well, I think she will release her first single, and the video will be one of these typically raunchy ones where she dances about nearly naked, and then after that there will be another few singles that nobody finds as good (as there is only a limited amount of clothes that you can remove for a music video
) and then she will be forgotten. What do you think? |

Its got the Kylie writing team behind her, and she is one of the most fancied women in the world... So I can't see any reason why she would flop at this point... Lets wait and see what music she produces first though....

Sorry, from reading this (above), it sounds exactly like you are describing Holly Valance I reckon Rachel should be okay ,because she has a good voice - although not as good as Jo's - and she has a lot of male followers, as well as S Club's former fans. |

There is nothing special about her singing talents - but she has beauty - and not in the typical slutty and teasing manner like most other female artists.
But when it comes to singing - maybe not, and she didn't exactly demonstrate her dancing techniques in S Club either. |

I thought she was a decent singer in S Club, after all, Hannah, Tina and Paul couldn't exactly hold a tune, could they??
I can see a Louise-esque career ... First single: Top 3 Second: Top 10 Next three - Top 20-ish Moderately successful album, before she retires and becomes Mrs JamSir!! |

From a music point of view I think she has no talent, the only singer from S Club that could sing was either Bradley or Jo (she had such a powerful voice). The only way she will get to number one is cause she has a well fit body and great looks. I dont think she can dance well though.
*Plus all those bloody little S Club fans will buy it!* |

I'm only messin' Well, there is already an existing fan base from S Club, but now there could be a more diverse fan base that includes older people - or if she releases a dance track then regular clubbers will buy it too. |

The only way she would get a number one is if a great songwriter wrote a fantastic song for her, which is probably unlikely. She should also have a unique video with an actual story behind it (if you get what I mean), instead of her just moving about in next to nothing.

The picture would have been better if she removed her arm from across her chest.

Just had a look at the picture and I must say if someone hadn't said it was Rachel Stevens I never would have recognised her!

I don't think she will last, just like the girl from Steps. 1 Song 1 chance.
