Sipgate and Linksys Pap2 Voip Adaptor - Optimum setup?
I use Sipgate for a few calls as it is cheaper. However people always say they have difficulty hearing me properly. I even turn off all other internet activity to maximise bandwidth.
I'm on 4mb Virgin Media L so I should have no problem. Can somebody please let me know the optimum setup for the Linksys Pap2? Codecs etc. Or what you have found works the best? You can post here or by PM. Any assistance appreciated. |

Hi
re sipgate and pap2 . I'm also on cable using sipgate (I have no BT phone). My preferred codec is set as G711a, use preferred codec only is set as no. Happy to forward you my pap2 setup screen grabs if it helps as I made UK specific localisation changes in the regional section also.I use a hands free dect phone with this and the pap2 is place in the dmz on my router. |
