Blocking a number (w850i)

I have a SE w850i and Phones 4 U keep calling me and hassling me.

I added their number as a contact so I could see them calling and not answer it or send a busy tone.

Is it possible to automatically reject a call from them?

not sure whether there is a way to block calls coming in - there is something on most handset to only allow outgoing calls to numbers within the contacts list.

if its that bad, you should answer the phone and request to speak to a manager - tell them to stop harassing you - it may help. However, if you have a contract with them and you aint paid the bill or something, then expect the calls regardless of whether you tell them to stop or not

Create a silent ring tone and assign it to them.

I agree here, you can requests your details to be removed from their database under the Data Protection Act.

Tell them if they refuse or call again you will take action for harassment.

But I do think ALL phones should have the facility to block individual numbers..

I believe all Samsungs have this facility and agree it should be an option on all phones. I no longer get marketing calls on my mobile as I registered the number with the TPS.

Yes this is easy to do seeing as you have a SE just sent your phone to ONLY recieve calls from the people in your phone book and no one else it doesnt stop witheld numbers calling you but it does stop all others hope this helps

On the other hand you could speak to the manager and tell him to remove your number from their database
