Jon responsible for Nush being up for eviction ... ?

Someone here has made a VERY good point with regards to Nush being up for eviction.

Steph was quite upset that she thought the boys wouldn't choose her for the reward-room - Cameron and Ray assured her that they would have choosen her. However, when she asked Jon he replied he would have taken that Nush without question! This set Steph off into a frenzy, where she broke down and was carefully comforted by Ray.

Until that point, Ray was going to nominate Steph. If Jon had been more diplomatic with Steph, then she might have accepted that the other men would have chosen her, not broken down that evening and not been comforted by Ray who subsequently went on to nominate Nush because he felt sorry for Steph!

Now Jon is complaining that Nush will go without taking any responsibility for his hand in her possible demise! It could be that his candid reply to Steph was designed only to upset her, but he hadn't anticipated that weak-link Ray would comfort and side with Steph. It was unfortunate for Jon that this all kicked off before nomination day.

Its no wonder that Jon took a pop at Ray by bitterly saying he had no chance of winning.

LOL!

Yep..that's right...one sentance of honesty from Jon is the reason for it all........Right...I'm glad that's all sorted then.....Jon is the puppet master and they are mere puppets......All this from just saying he'd pick Nush.......Gosh.

I've no complaint with Jon's candid reply - but it was that point which tipped Steph over the edge. Cause and effect. Of course, it would be bizzare to suggest he is totally responsible for everything that led to that point, but his choice NOT to sensitive to Steph was enough for a cascade of events.

Jon as gone back in and made one big mess of it. Whats the old saying's 'never go back'. 'Stop while your winning'. 'Quit while your at the top'. He should never have gone back in. Him being nasty to Steph as really change the eviction this week.
I for one would like to thank him. Nush out thank you Jon.

Jon merely stated the obvious...when he was asked who he fancied several weeks back, he said Nush.

I think Jon underestimated Steph's opportunism (she seems to exploit any weaknesses she finds in other HM's).

Ray has no emotional equilibrium, and as such I would not trust him at all. He's the kind of guy you can never fully trust.

Ray is not a "solid bloke".
Fact is, Ray gave Scott and Nush the impression that he was on their side.

Nush did not nominate Ray, because she thought he was on her side of the house.

I think anyone who stayed up on Friday night saw that Steph had the knives out the moment Lisa had left the door. Covered it up with cries of PMT, which people believed... It was all okay by Monday though. Although she admitted she was shaking a little bit, before she went and hugged Ray for saving her arse.

“Jon is the puppet master”

Oh NO you couldn't me more wrong if you tried. Jon is the puppet of BB. Jon hasn't the sense to know what a puppet string is. If he saw one he would ask if it could be solar powered or not and try and invent a string that can be shoved instead of pulled.

Yes.that summs up the mind of the so called ledgend who could not invent a way to put sugar in tea

Jon has well and truly screwed up the outcome of BB4. NO. on second thought the wonderful wisdom of Jon supporters has screwed up BB4. Without them we would have had a series that was half worth watching and didn't NEED gimmicks to keep it alive and kicking. As it is it has turned out to be the most corrupted BB in our time..

It's amazing that Steph has discovered the cure for PMT.

One of the most miraculous recoveries I've ever seen...it's as if the not being nominated automatically made her feel better...it's a miracle!

I wonder who Jon meant when he referred to someone being smug after Noms were announced??

As soon as Lisa left the house, she no longer wanted to be friends with Nush, her need for female company myteriously evaporated when no longer expedient.

Steph's aim was always to eliminate the other female HM's; she seems to have been instrumental in turning people against them.
Sissy was right; she's a snake in the grass.

I think Ray and Ray alone is responsible for Nush being up for eviction. Can't see how anyone can blame Jon for this because while it may have been his comment that set Steph off, it was ultimately down to Ray to choose who he wanted out. I still can't believe how easily he was swayed by Steph's tears. Not because I think they were crocodile tears (which I do) but because I feel Ray could have easily comforted Steph without nominating Nush. What did he hope to prove by doing that exactly?

At the end of the day, Scott, Nush and Ray were firm friends in the house and on the weight of one night of tears and tantrums he quite frankly stabbed one of them in the back. Fair enough if Nush was irrritating him and he wasn't getting along with her but for him to sit there and say because 'Steph said that I'm doing this' is just baffling. Since when did he care what Steph had to say?

IMO, Steph\'s little episode gave Ray the perfect opportunity to do something he's been pondering on all along. I find it very hard to believe he nominated Nush solely on the weight of Steph's tears on Sunday night.

Jon's comment was honest, and essentially irrelevant to nominations. Steph's so sly. From the moment she was nominated the week before, she knew she was prime candidate for nomination along with Cameron this week, so set about manipulating the one member of the seemingly unbreakable group of three who she felt was susceptible to her games. She'd have blubbed and played on Ray's sympathetic side whether Jon had mad the comment or not.

Just a shame Ray was too genuine and well, naive, to see what was really going on and allowed himself to be swayed like that. Miraculous how all Steph's trauma's and bouts of PMT cleared up sometime Tuesday afternoon, and the usual smug whining Steph has returned

Damn right. If it wasn't for us Jon fans insisting on the housemate swap, the insertion of Lisa, the half-assed Head Of House idea, and the return of an evicted ex-HM, this would have been the BEST SERIES EVER!

Possibly.

Not to mention us Jon fans coming up with the double eviction, and then manipulating the editing causing the two stars of the show to be evicted in week 4. Why did we do that?!
