Heroes HD DVD Cheap on Amazon
As hinted to in the title, I just bought the heroes Complete Season on HD DVD for £21.97. The SD DVD is double that on there. Thats my bargain of the month.

Yep, a few people got orders in and then it shot back up in price almost as if Amazon saw the demand and decided the HD DVD market was still worth exploiting ![]() DVD couk have it for £29.95 |

Well, it arrived Saturday this morning, I'd only ordered it Friday afternoon, glad I didn't go for the Guaranteed next day delivery at a lot of extra cost, as it arrived anyway before 1pm. Anyhow, the picture quality is excellent, except the un-aired pilot seems to be SD, which is no real loss as it's pretty bad anyway.
I notice it's on there now for £34.97, still not bad, better than the £68+ from Woolies, Jeez that shop annoys me, they seem to add a fiver on everything, Gits!!! |

Yep once again (just like Amazon) they drop the price of HD DVD, they get a flood of orders and the price goes up again

It's really going to be a culture shock when I finally stop buying HD DVD and add Blu-ray and have to pay normal prices

Well, a sub $250 BD player from Samsung later this year should help!
![]() A little ironic if the Funai player eventually turns up and mainstream suppliers already have cheaper products ![]() Then again if Funai take advantage of the cheaper optics that are on offer now their initial $300 price tag will be greatly revised. |
