"I dreamed a dream" Not the easiest of songs, in fact the most difficult.

The majority of the Olivers will come from middle class stage school or that type.

Very few from a council estate.

One has to have 'standards', bet they pick a 'common type' for Nancy.

I can't believe how grim Francesca looks on this programme. On stage in Rent a couple of months ago she looked much older and much hotter

Shows what professional makeup can do for someone!

Yep, I'm watching - it's a good programme to have on in the background when I'm doing admin!

I'm a bit grumpy that I've managed to read some spoilers on the last page as to who did and didn't get through. I saw some before I realised what it was. Booo. Oh well, I didn't see them all, so it's not too bad.

Where's the little Welsh Oliver? I liked him.

I liked Jordan - he seems a nice "normal" kid

What's the point of showing us the boys when we don't get to pick them? Are they just going to show one of them getting meaninglessly rejected each week?

Why not just have their story on a single programme the week before the final Nancy gets picked or something?

I'm finding it difficult to care about any of them because I know that lots of them are totally irrelevant, plus given their age the actual show will need 3 or 4 of them anyway, not just one, like there will be with Nancy.

Mummy with a four by four and all the family with expensive wetsuits.

No chance of a normal kid getting the part.

Haven't seen a single girl who impresses me so far. Francesca from Rent is far too nasal. Overall the acting is appalling and vocals very weak.

Am baffled as to what they were looking for.

They'll probably announce at the end of the series "right couldn't find a decent Nancy. Denise will take the part instead".

My local drama group did Oliver! last year and about 6 of the girls who went for the part could have wiped the floor with this lot had they bothered to audition!

Wow, I clearly hear something very different to you guys. I thought "Nancy Nancy" was one of the weakest of the lot.

Oh my, that poor blonde girl's face as the Barrowman stood by her and stood by her and then walked off without touching her! So expressive!
