no me too. although im not sure if i prefer it to our bb as they are too tactical and dont seem to be able to have a laugh at all, i still like it for being totally diffferent to ours and a different way of playing big brother. if some of the housemates from US came to ours, our HM's wouldnt be able to stand a chance against them as they are tactical and all about getting people out whereas ours hate voting their HM's up.

Well it jumped back to around 138,000. So its getting there.
I certainly wouldn't want it axed! Its too addictive...my usual fix. |

The UK housemates just think they can sit pretty and get a mag deal at the end. The US housemates actually want and work to be there. We've had 8 people quit between BB7 and BB8. They've only had one person quit ever. I do loike both versions, although I wouyld prefer our BB to have people who want to be there to win, not to be on the front page of The Star.

So do the US houseguests become 'famous' and get magazine deals like ours do or is it all about the game and the money they will win in there possibly?
All game and winning the money. I'd rather it be that way then what bbuk has morphed into. Can you imagine the majority of bbuk hm being sequestered and only let out until after the show is over?

I think that's exactly what should happen tbh.
Keep 'em caged up at Elstree. I doubt we'd see any walkers ![]() haha, holding them against there will. If it's walkers that bother you then they should put in their contracts that if you walk your not allowed to do any deals with the media. Here's a funny thing. The one couple that had sex in the house about four years ago have not even discussed it outside of the house. That's the way I like it. |

If they don't agree to that, then they aren't going in ![]() You could always sweeten the deal by saying "Anyone sequestered may be returned to the BB house at any time" Of course the producers may not return them as well ![]() I'm tired of the pap shots and non stories which the red tops seem to savour so much. a no media interaction deal would be nearly impossible to enforce. |

87000 viewers is good for a show on e4, isn't it? I hope they don't axe it neither.

![]() Hollyoaks get nearly 1m at 7pm. It's not the worst though - it got more viewers than Russell Brand's Ponderland on Thursday. |

Oh, I thought about 100,000 viewers was great for a channel like e4, that is pretty bad then!

They should have got live feeds on interactive and late night like they did for BB4.
I say live feeds but what they were actually delayed by 17 hours so that we saw at 3pm on Wednesday what they were doing at 3pm on Tuesday. |

Just like real life, there are people you see everyday and the details are part of conversation, but you would not talk on the same level of trivia with someone you saw only occasionally. |

If they just did live feed from 2am to 6am, even that would be at the US prime time wouldnt it? So we'd see all last night scheming by them.

Can't see them axing it - not like they've got lots of other stuff to show. They've shown it once before and doubt that did very well either. The only reason it got shown this year is because the US did an early one because of the writers strike.

UK big bro is like watching paint dry. After the 3rd series i lost interest. But american big brother is massively entertaining. I love the whole scheming around the show. Having only 3 shows a weeks is pretty good too as you don't have to waste your whole week watching it.
I've found all the big bro US series they've shown in this country as riveting viewing, really keeps you interested seeing all the scheming and bitching.....keep it up E4....and the fact that we get it so closely after america is excellent!! |
