Apparently not.........once they're out that's it. The media have no interest in them.....unlike ours.
True. They don't launch careers in media either, with the exception of one winner who has had minor success. BB US housemates are completely unknown to anyone who doesn't watch the show.

I have become totally addicted to BBUS.I cant believe that the ratings are so bad.I find it very compulsive viewing. Im assuming E4 will air it till the end.

That's the way it should be IMO......their only reason for going on BB should be about the whole experience, & not what you get out of it on eviction.

People go on about how bbusa is nothing like bbuk.

bbusa has more in common with bbuk 1+2 than what bbuk has now become.

ive been watching it on you tube just cant wait for it to come on i'll have to turn on the sky when its on and just leave it running to make sure the rating stay up lol.

this show is ten times better than ours i hope the producers and writers allow the housemates to talk about nominations so some true gameplaying can happen.

The tasks are far superior to the UK dross.
I'm still 50/50 about open discussion of noms for BB9.
One minute I think it'd be a good thing, the next I'm not too sure.

I only just got into this series by watching it last night on E4 - it doesn't appear to be on today at all - the show I watched was a highlights show - can anyone tell me when the next one is and which series it is? Anyway it is excellent - much better than ours this year and I hope they don't pull it either!

How do you come to that conclusion?

BBUSA is nothing like BB1/2 UK,The format is different, the hms attitude to the game is different,Im strugggling to find one thing that makes it comparable.

true the tasks are superior but then theres much more at stake.
Also a lot of HoH competitions are a bit boring..who said what on day 9 etc.
the PoV and the physical tasks are great but too many of the hoh competitions are simple popquiz rubbish which can be as boring as our tasks.

I think this will be the last BBUS we will see for a while.

I only think we've got it because of the writers strike and E4 air so much American content.

I dont think it will be axed now regardless of the viewing figures, they may as well let the show play out.

I'm really enjoying BBUS whereas I'd more or less stopped watching BBUK because of the awful wannabe contestants. I'd watch them enter the house then have to give up after a couple of days because I couldn't bear to watch some of them. Plus the tasks got worse and worse. I can remember when tasks seemed to last days.

They will not axe it, they have paid for the rights now.

I very much doubt we will see the summer series though.

Shame as i am loving it, much better flow and less dull than our show.

Still think they should have voted Jen back in

It puzzles me why they voted the least interesting of all the evictees to go back in. I would have been happy with any of the others, because I never fell close to a coma when they were on the screens

i'm surprised that E4 havent rescheduled BBUS coz of the low ratings, especially when it is being shown during primetime 9pm.
i mean repeats of reaper get bigger viewers than BBUS.

i luv the show and glad that its only on 2 nights so i dont feel guilty or obsessed watching every single day.

have E4 shown previous BBUS series?

who here wud luv for the american version of BBLB to air also on E4? the ratings would be atrocious.
i dont like the 'contestants' families' segment on the eviction episodes. think its best left for the BBLB equivalent show.

They would be atrocious because they would have to show a test card or static for a 1/2 hour. The US doesn't have a BBLB or BBBM equivalent. The BB9 package you are getting on E4 is all the US tv viewers are getting.

There's a Monday-Friday call in show on CBS.com but it is a complete waste of time.

You are watching them.
3 one hour episodes per week.
BB isn't a big deal at all over here.

It's considered bottom of the barrel reality tv.

Oh really? WOW!

I knew there wasn't any real media interest in the HM's.......didn't realise it wasn't on TV much.
