Toshiba EP10 Firmware upgrade failure

You know how they say in big caps DO NOT POWER OFF YOUR MACHINE DURING A FIRMWARE UPGRADE.

Well I had a power cut.

Won't boot up at all now.

Any suggestions about how I can restore it to a "factory condition?"

It'll probably require a service operation, if you were updating over the net you could try using a CD to install the firmware unless the machine is totally dead.

Given the player has only been out a year you may get lucky and either Toshiba or the retailer would consider a free repair or swap given the firesales atm.
