Harmony one .vs. Prestigo SRU8015
I currently have the Logitech Harmony 785 Universal Remote Control which is being returned for the second time due to a fault.
I have been looking to replace this with either the Logitech Harmony one or the Philips Prestigo SRU8015. Which is better, the Harmony one or the Prestigo SRU8015 ? If anyone has either of these remotes, i would love you to let me know if you have any problems, grievances or any other complaint about that remote. Thanks.

I don't have either, however i do have a harmony 885 & also a nintendo ds lite.
I personally think the harmony remotes are excellent and i would never go back to having anything that is not up to it's standard. i originally thought that harmony had let the side down by having a remote with just one worldwide standard instead of the 880 u.s. or 885 european versions, however since i have been playing around with my kids nintendo ds lites with the touch screen, i have nothing but praise for the touch screen. I personally think the harmony one with the touch screen will be a fantastic piece of kit. thats my thoughts on it anyway. edit The only thing that will let it down for me, is the texture of the bottom of the remote. I have not touched one, but it looks similar to the bottom of a sky remote control with the rubbery texture......it gives me goosebumps & i cant stant the feel of it. :S but i may be wrong and it may not be the same texture at all. |
