Why no teletext on Tiscali ?

Given that most Tiscali customers will be accessing Freeview channels through the ariel, why does the STB not allow the text or red button to access teletext on these channels?

If you try this, a message reports that interactive services are not yet enabled.

Even the cheapest Freeview recievers allow access to teletext so surely Tiscali could enable this feature without too much difficulty ?

Am I missing something ?

I'm still on the old Homechoice system rather than the new Tiscali TV (migrating next month apparently) but unless the new system is a complete change then the channels aren't freeview down an ariel but are being broadcast down the phone line.

So its not just a case of allowing teletext and the red button functionality from Freeview its having to code the whole system to do it. I personally don't think it will be one of their priorities to be honest as I expect migrating all the users to the new system and providing the PVR and HD are more important to most customers than subtitles or the red button?
