jvc TH-L1 home cinima

hope someone can help,will this jvc th-lL home cinima system deliver 5.1 sound when connected to my sky hd box
with an optical cable.All the threads i have read have left me very comfused .thanks

Specs state it has 2x optical inputs so yes it should work with Sky HD.

if theres an optical connection on the JVC you should be able to connect a SKY HD box. You will only get 5.1 on the channels that support this (movies I think) and you will need to set the sound output on the hd box to dolby digital.

Any other channels will proberbly just come though in pro-logic II, if the amp supports it.
