All I can see Ignazio is you accusing people who don't think that Suzanne should have won of sour grapes when in fact everyone who has made that comment here on this particular thread has made it in a fair way that was in no way derogatory to Suzanne

There's no way that a mere opinion on a silly list that hardly anyone reads can let Chris down ”

Chris's fans should be really proud of him; the way he skated and the way he conducted himself. Don't let him down now with sour grapes.”

You said (quite rightly) that we all here to comment - and I asked if that included me, because you had previously implied that I took it too seriously.

I agree most of those who were hoping for a Chris win, have hidden their disappointment and congratulated Suzanne, but just a few have made catty remarks. Similarly some Suzanne fans have been spiteful towards Chris - saying they're glad he lost, calling him arrogant and smug; one called him a t***er - I thought this was appalling and said so. Just because they are fellow Suzanne supporters doesn't make such spite acceptable.

If I can criticise those who are derogatory about Chris, I take it I have the same right to criticise those who are catty about Suzanne. You have criticised me - and have every right to do so. I respond - again it is my right.

I think all 3 finalists put on an amazing show tonight. Well done all of them.

Just one point that annoyed......the camera work.
Why do directors go for the arty shots? - several times you couldn't see the dancers footwork or lifts properly.

Suzanne won for me the moment she skated to 'Music'

She was Shae Lynn Bourne (WC in 2003)

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=cbkFbM-nP3U - This routine v. much reminds me of that!

Congratulations to Suzanne; I did vote for her tonight but both she and Chris were very good tonight and throughout the whole series, so I wouldn't have minded either way. And before we all get caught up in taking this too seriously, can I just say that my five year old sister always supports whoever's in a pink costume

Great Final, all the finalists did a great job, Suzanne was my favourite tonight, she really impressed me and I voted for her. I thought Chris would of won personally, it seemed he had it in the bag.

Oh well this is my first year for watching DOI and I enjoyed but the show could be a bit more professional, looking forward to next year if it happens.

I feel really pleased for Suzanne. Even up until the moment when the winner was announced, I didn't think she would win but was pleasantly surprised for a change. She gave three outstanding performances and as others have said, was the best on the night!

You are entitled to your opinion but obviously on the night more people thought Suzannes was the best

So in both of his skates tonight you have admitted it wasnt brilliant but still think he should win......

As a huge Chris and Frankie fan, I thought they were going to walk it tonight, but Suzanne and Matt wiped the floor with them.

Chris has been the best throughout the series generally, but Suzanne wasn't that far behind him and massively upped her game tonight.

It's like the FA cup. Some teams are better than others throughout the tournament, but it's who scores on the day that matters.

WD Suzanne, you deserved it and then some tonight.

Very gracefully said, flossy. I'm a Suzanne fan here so I'm pleased as punch that she won and performed so well, but I have to say I wouldn't have been surprised had Chris won as he was consistently excellent.

Suzanne and Matt wowed me this evening though and I'm thrilled to bits they lifted the trophy!

Suzanne deserved to win overall on the performances tonight. However, the flying is clearly unfair to the male celeb skaters.

How on earth was Chris supposed to perform with little Frankie?

It was the same last year with Keiron Bracken, he was terrible at the flying.

Shouldn't they all have to fly? At least that would be a bit fairer. Personally, I'd like them to drop the flying. Having them learn another routine would be better.

Nearly all the way through I thought Chris was the best, until the last three shows, that's when Suzanne upped a gear and for me was the better skater, tonight she was absolutely sublime and deserved to win, I'm really pleased and happy that she did.

I'm overjoyed that Suzanne won! To be honest I thought (as a Suzanne fan) that Chris & Frankie were going to win by a landslide. I really enjoyed watching all three of the contestants tonight too, and I can't decide WHOSE Bolero I prefer out of Chris and Suzanne.

Yup it was a great final, glad Suzanne won too as I totally expected Chris to.

I've been a Suzanne supporter most of the series, even though theres no doubt Chris is a brilliant skater i think she is a lot more expressionate and artistic and connection between her and Matt was better.
However, i was expecting Chris and Frankie to win and would have been quite happy if they did as it was very exciting to watch.
I do think the 'flying' routines should incorporate more skating in them though. The one Chris did at least had some skating in it.

...With the JUDGES: Not with us?

Please stop confusing the two. That is why you are having a problem understanding.

When it come down to just the public being allowed to say who was the best skater, they decided it was Susanne.

PLUS: The judges also fully agreed with their actual marks all 6s twice!

It was obvious that the comments about Chris were just being nice to him comments.

Well a whole panel of experts and the majority of the voting public, disagree.

I think that while Chris is the best skater on the show, Suzanne was the better dancer. She won because she managed to raise her skating standard higher than Chris got his dancing.

Both of them are absolutely fantastic though and should get the career-boost that goes with success on shows like this.
