Can you not apply under "the freedom of information act". They couldn't use the excuse that it would spoil the show now it's over.

and anyway if it was a General election then we should know, but saying that if money was charged and it was, then I don't see why the public should lay down and not know
a, how many votes (eg 3 million , 6 million , people can vote many times)

b, how much money was taken (our money if we phoned)
c.. the margin of votes to winner and runner up

and I believe that is a fair question warranted for an answer ... after all we do live in the 21 century ... sometimes
