I had leaned towards Suzanne all series but Chris was great so if he had won, I would have been more than happy.

Going by the whole series and not toally agreeing with all the '6's tonight for Suzanne, I still think she deserved to win.

She danced on her own so much, which alot of the woman never do on this show, and she was elegant. Chris was great but tonight he chose the wrong song for his best routine.

I think tonight was the right result on the whole series...but wish Michael had not had an injury...who knows what would have happened if he had still been in!

I think they both did extremely well, although I think the girls did better with their flying performances because they're the lighter ones and Frankie did have some trouble pulling around Chris who was heavier than her.

But, Suzanne was very good- Chris may have had the edge for me but, well done to her.

Yep I didn't vote cos my favs were out a few week ago, so I wasn't really bothered who won however I think Suzanne was the deserved winner on tonights performances.

I am more than happy with the results. Neck & neck I put them until tonight when Suzanne pulled that extra sparkle out.

I was a Gareth fan but well I could see he was not in their league but nevertheless I (my openion only) feel he should have been in the final but hey the best 2 went forward in the end so I am happy

Ditto...altho' IMO, I think Chris has been the better skater throughout the series...he was absolutely brilliant & as people have said on previous threads, it's harder for the male skaters to have to do the lifts...the flying tonight was really tough for him & Frankie. I thought he did really well.

It was a great final to top off a great series...loved seeing Greg - still enjoying himself & the lovely Gareth again

I have this nagging feeling that the judges decided to get rid of Gareth to protect Suzanne. They knew Gareth could stop Suzanne making the final two and put Zaarah through who was no threat. Nice as Zaarah is did anyone see the point of her in the final? Had Gareth been in the final it would have generated far more interest and been a closer contest.

I wasn't happy, not because of who won, but because I thought the final was a bit rubbish. I think wire-work is awful, I thought both 'best' routines were failures (Chris because it wasn't as good as before, Suzanne's because I think that routine murders the track with its horrific choreography), and neither of the Bolero's were really something that special.

I like the people who do the best skating and best routine, so Chris and Suzanne had been pretty equal to me coming in, but now ... bah, don't care. No wire work and more work on being better at the actual skating next time please. And stop giving sixes for sod all, judges.

I can't see the judges playing along with that, but I do agree that if Gareth had stayed it would have made the final a lot less certain. Based on overall skating ability, he deserved to be in the final more than Zaraah too, but have to agree that the final two was the only fair outcome.

I felt sorry for Zaraah - being made to put on her Bolero costume as if there was a chance of her getting to skate in it. It wasn't even a particularly nice bolero outfit. Suzanne's was much better, lol.

I wasn't looking forward to tonights final in the same way as I have enjoyed the series, but I was pleasntly surprised, the flying isn't one of my favourite bits, but I thoroughly enjoyed Suzanne's performance. I was glad that she won!

I was a fan of Michael and his comedy so once he went out I was just watching for the entertainment of the thing and I was hoping the winner would be the best skater rather than the most popular contestant.
I think in all fairness Chris has been by far the best skater and up there with the best as a performer. Suzanne has been very graceful and her skating has improved dramatically.
At the start of the night I thought I'd be happy if either won. By the end though I was fed up. It seemed to me that the result was manipulated by the judges. I thought Suzanne's 30 for the first round was justified, but not for the second round. I was also slightly irritated by Nicky talking over Holly to say he thought Suzanne should win. Not really playing the game that Nicky, judges really should just comment on each performance rather than express a preference as to who should win.

On tonights dances it was the right result.

Love Gregs cameo, just proves you dont have to be a good skater to entertain

Utterly right result based upon what I saw tonight.

I agree, although I wouldn't have minded any one of the three finalists.

I supported Greg and Michael but was very pleased to see both Chris and Suzanne get through to skate their Bolero routines. Both have been fantastic all series and deserved to be the last two.

I was also very happy to see Suzanne and Matt win as I thought they did better tonight. What a great birthday Matt must be having now!

I think you're right, but it would have been an injustice if Gareth had kept Suzanne out of the final two and it was always likely that would have happened if he'd stayed in with just the public voting this week.

This was the right result, except I do think Gareth should have finished third on his performances over the whole series.

I really thought up until tonight Chris had it in the bag but Suzanne blew me away and Chris was defo not up to his usual self. The right person won.

Up until tonight, I was sure Chris would win, but Suzanne totally blew him out of the water tonight. She thoroughly deserved to win.

Out of the final two I preferred Suzanne's flying routine, and Chris's interpretation of Bolero - so didn't really think either had the edge in both performances, so I couldn't have picked a winner on the night.

Overall Chris was the better skater IMO

On tonight's performances I felt that Suzanne won quite comfortably. With the exception of the Bolero (too many tricks for me with no passion) her grace and elegance shone through. However, I can't see where the 6s came as I didn't think any of her performances were flawless and felt the over marking detracted from what has been an otherwise enjoyable series.

Like other posters I don't like the flying and would prefer an extra routine so we can see the improvement on the ice.

Totally agree with you. Suzannes flying routein was much better but I do think Chris had the edge on his Bolero as it was more in tune with the music and i didn;t like Suzannes as much ... however I think she picked the right dance in Music wheras Chris picked the wrong one, he should have picked time warp, he seemed nervous during this routein which I think lost him the votes

I agree. I was very surprised that he didn't do Time Warp. I think if he had done that one it would have been a lot closer and, given us the "fun" which Robin was referring to.

I wanted Zaraah to win, but Suzanne was the deserved winner on the night. She was simply sublime last night.

I was more of a Zaraah fan until the final, and would have been pleased whoever won, but Suzanne was simply perfect last night and a worthy winner, whereas Chris who normally shines in his performances wasn't anywhere near his best and I was distinctly disappointed in his Cry Me A River routine after the amazing first time he did it.

Through the series I wasn't backing either although I always thought that Chris would win. On the night of course Suzanne gave far the better performances and was the well deserved winner.
