I'm looking to get a new DVD Recorder and I'm thinking about getting an older (for price reasons) Panasonic model but need to know if they record PAL AND NTSC?

I have a VCR that can output a pure NTSC signal if needed.

Yes Panasonics can record pure NTSC signals. Will probably require the TV system settings changed from PAL to NTSC.

Cannot record quasi NTSC signals as produced by most PAL VHS machines when playing back NTSC tapes.
