Agreed. I actually look forward to Tuesday and Thursday nights just to see what's going on. Julie Chen is a leg-end alright!

I love the way she just gets them told. When the bunny boiler was in the DR being all hyper and deciding who to bring back I thought julie was going to tell her to shut it and decide

Go julie! Davina take note!!!

I,m also enjoying it but can,t say I like Julie that much. Davina may be a bit loud and over excitable but at least she seems quite genuine.

I'm loving this show too, really looking forward to tonights two episodes!

I'm finding it much more interesting than the UK one, the fact that they can discuss tactics, that they find out who has backstabbed them and can therefore seek revenge if they want, the initial couples idea was great (kinda sad that's ended), it all makes the show far more interesting.

Also the tasks are much better than the UK ones, it's just like the show seem to make more of an effort to make it more interesting for the viewer.

The only thing I would change is posibly the interview when someone is evicted, it could do with being a bit longer, as for Julie she is a much better, classy and unbiased interviewer than our dead wood Davina IMO!

LOL this is the first season of the US version I have ever watched...so I have nothing to compare it to other than the UK BB!

Great viewing tonight already!

In that case I can see what you mean, even this season has been far better than UK BB.

You have to see season 6 and 8, loved those two. Tonights will ruin season 8 for you though, be warned!!

julie chen is an awful presenter, she barely shows any emotion or attachment to the show.
give me bias over fake smiles and automated interviews anytime.

I can see why you like this series if its the first one you have watched but to be honest this series is very poor, the few moments of gameplay we saw was killed off by a dumb twist and pointless excercise for the week of james eviction.

The hms this season dont have a clue when it comes to playing this game.
Watch BB6 for a brilliant series or if your really into backstabbing try BB8

I love this show too, i've only seen this season and season 3 of BB USA. I love the fact that they can discuss everything and make alliances, and backstab each other, i love the HOH idea and the power of veto. I wish E4 would show it all the time. How do you guys all watch it, online?

I think BB USA is far better that the UK version. I love the fact they can discuss nominations and form alliances. It also makes all the bitching and backstabbing more acceptable.

I also like that the tasks are very important. The housemates take them more seriously because they have huge consequences if they don't.

Fantastic show, the yanks really do show us how to do it, IMO.

I've been watching from BB6 and of course haven't stopped watching since. I personally like both formats, but the US has a slight edge IMO, as it is more Survivorish, which is my fave RTV show
I do think the UK version should stay how it is though.

Amen, I'd almost given up on this season...the couples thing just did not work, no one seemed to be playing the game - split em up and BOOM - all of a sudden it's back to the BBUSA I know and love

Except its not really the same.
Sure its picked up since the silly couples twist but even sillier twists are continually wrecking this show.
To add to that we have dreadful hms.
These hms cant form alliances that last more than 2 days.
I dont think any of them have a clue on how to play the game on a strategic level.
They all fall over themselves to do what the hoh wants and when you have wasted hms like sharon who admits to wanting to sitback to get to the final still in the game then you can see how dull this season is.
It took a hm from another season to get peoples interest up,that says something about BB9.

It has indeed. Before the split I would have never expected half the housemates to be thinking strategically before the split. The thing is we haven't really seen it play out as a normal BBUS yet, due to the twists they kept adding. This has been the first twistless week and it was very good, and hopefully we can continue to have twistless weeks now.

I definitely agree with both of the above, but it's now like...an average season of BBUSA, rather than some random crap that I am wondering why on earth I am watching it!

It'll take an awful lot make this a memorable (for the right reasons) season now, the amount of twists are annoying - 3 people in the house right now have already been evicted once! - they are terrible strategists and although it has improved, they still seem to mainly vote with their hearts. But at least it feels like BBUSA again
