I guess some people aren't happy unless they are slating someone as shown above.

As for one person saying they complained to ITV when Phillip answered a question Stephen Mulhern asked him on Defrosted in the first series, well I do wonder how much time people have on their hands.

I am sorry but I think it is sad to read all this negativity. Phillip is a lovely, kind man and would never go out purposly to hurt or be malicious towards anyone.”

Phillip may be a lovely kind man but he was very unprofessional to make that kind of remark about a contestant of a show he presents. I am not a Chris fan so it is not sour grapes at all, just there should be some standards people should work to and clearly Phillip does not have professional standards. Chris is a young man I think only 20 and had put his all into the series and to be slapped in the face with such a childish comment from someone old enough to know better.

As for Chris being gutted, wouldnt you be after being told by TWO of the Ice Dance Judges that you were THE BEST CELEB that had ever been on DOI.........a Suzanne win makes a bit of a mockery of their comments doesnt it

Come on everyone dont be naive we all knew who was going to win last night

Suzanne was good and better on the wire than Chris but the whole night was geared fo a win for Suzanne

I also think the tour has a lot to do with who wins”

There's not much point being the best before the final. She's also got the record marks on her side which gives her the best nights peformance ever. I think the gutted feeling is natural when you were the huge favourite to win. Its difficult not to believe the message when everyone is telling you it and hardened bookies see it as a one way thing. Actually it just shows that DS polls and many internet/phone in polls are notorious for being wrong. I wouldn't be surprised though if Suzanne had had more votes for several weeks.

Ahh so here we go, getting to the bottom of it all, it's all down to age. Chris has been an actor for many years now, do you think this is the worst thing that he has come across? I heard Chris on the radio the day before the final and Jason's comments from a newspaper were mentioned by the presenter. Chris quite rightly laughed it off. When you become an actor etc you are thrown into the public eye and you just have to take comments made by other people and deal with them and get on with it.

If I was Chris I would be more offended that his fans on here are making out he is a little boy who can't deal with negative comments. You are making him out to be very unprofessional.

No - Phillip was unprofessional - and it's not just Chris's fans who think so. I supported Suzanne throughout the series.

I know you run a website dedicated to Phillip which suggests your views are coloured by your admiration for him.

As for Jason's remarks - Chris was given the opportunity to respond to Jason when the comments were made. He did not laugh them off - he defended himself; politely and with dignity.

I just think that it has been blown out of proportion and people are looking for someone to blame and right now it's Phillip.

Chris did laugh them off on the radio show I heard!

I am sure Chris will get an opportunity to respond to Phillip's comment, I doubt he will because he probably hasn't even worried about it.

If I was Chris I probably would have thought I had it in the bag anyway because he was very good and confident throughout the whole competition but I felt he didn't put as much into the final which was a shame because I thought he deserved to win through most of the series....

Suzanne was definitely more impressive in the final show though!

Anyway I give up, each to their own

I don't think you read my post clearly or maybe your bias towards Phillip is clouding your sight. I didn't say it is all down to age at all, I just pointed out that it isn't nice to slate anyone whos put so much effort into something then whack them in the face at the end.

... Phillip was unprofession in his behaviour but with people like you shielding him from public openion then he is not going to learn by his mistakes (you said in an earlier post you had not passed on e-mails sent to his fan site)

Perhaps he did laugh off Jason's remarks the day before the final - he wasn't laughing the day they were made; I know - I saw the interview.

I've pointed out previously that I complained to ITV re; Phillips bias towards Bonnie last year - in light of the fact that you find time to run a website dedicated to him, I find the remark I highlighted quite ironic.

I'm sure it took me far less time to email ITV than it takes you to run your website.

Oh and I didn't realise you had kept critical emails from your hero - you're making him out to be a little boy who can't deal with negative comments - very unprofessional

Never mind all that, Jason was just on This Morning being rude about some fashion or other ("This shows you are either pregnant or fat") and Jenny McAlpine who plays Fizz in Corrie was there and said I have a bone to pick with you about Zaraah and he said Zaraah? as if he'd never heard of her. Philnfern said, you know, from Dancing on Ice and he said, oh all forgotten, darling, all forgotten.

It's not my job to pass them on. I have Phillip's email address but I only use it for business. I ALWAYS reply to everyone who emails through the site and recommend them to contact Phillip via his agent which I give the address for!

Jason was never bitchy about Zaraah - he loved her.
