N95 Questions
Hi all,
I'm about to buy a Nokia N95, which is unlocked ex-Vodafone contact, about a year old and in near perfect condition - just one small nibble by the charging socket. It's my brothers phone - he's just accepted an upgrade from Vodafone. He wants £75 plus my Nokia 6230 which I don't use anymore as I have a newer 6230i - is that a good deal? My main question is - I've heard about the issues with them - would updating the firmware improve these issues? Which network would get the best out of the phone - mostly with regards to the GPS service? Any other advice/tips greatfully appriciated. Many thanks, Steve. |

I have had my N95 for 4 months and no problems at all. I love it. I don't use the sat nav as I have a tom tom but it's great for music, reading emails, accessing internet (nearly forgot the phone calls!)
. I would recommend it. Maybe I have just been lucky with mine. . I now use goosynch for updating my calendar and contacts, fab!

That only syncs with Outlook. GooSync keeps Google Calendar synced with the internal calendar on your N95.

I have had an N95 for a good few months now, and love it.
There are loads of really good 3rd party applications to use on it. I run the most recent firmware, and dont have a problem with reliability at all. |

I've my N95 a month now and love it. Its on vodafone contract so its vodafone branded and I've never had a problem. Battery lasts me about 3 or 4 days, I updated to firmware V20 and now it runs faster as well.
If its £75 plus a phone you dont use anymore do it. You're not losing anything really and £75 is bloody good for an N95. You can also buy an 8gb memory card for it so you have a shit ton of memory
