Did Nush pass on that Jon can't win?

Jon told Nush he couldn't win to show how serious he was before he started to offer her advice about dealing with the media?

Anyone know if she told any of the other housemates?

If so he must be the first out on Friday, rather than winding the others up.

Thought he was great offering her help regardless.

Tickle, Tickle, Tickle!!

But how arrogant to say when BB called him that he wasn't finished yet!

Rubbish, that was great. As he's shown throughtout he won't be bullied by big brother and was willing to risk getting booted out himself.

That was a great moment..to add to the Tickle collection...in fact I can't think of many memorable events that weren't Tickle related bar Fed's cock-ups/faux pas and Lisa arrogant bravado....

Nush didn't exactly look shocked when he told her did she? Maybe they've cottoned on without being told?

No, I think Nush really wasn't paying that much attention. She's not the sharpest tool in the box is Nush.

Nush wasn't surprised when they found out Jon couldn't nominate or be nominated and said so, but others definitely were eg Ray, who kicked off and Cameron who went in the DR for half an hour.

Never been a Nush fan, but I really don't think she was DESPERATE to win - ok she would have liked to obviously- but I think it was more about staying in as long as possible whereas some of the others ...!!!

I'm glad she didn't tell the other HMs. She didn't owe them anything as three out of four of them had voted her out but I think she didn't tell them because she didn't want Jon to get into any more trouble.

I'm sure she had more important things on her mind that Jon's bullshit.

Jon was not only arrogant in his response to BB, he was totally out of order in his scaring of Nush. BB should have kicked him out.

What did Jon tell her? I heard him start to say about the Sunday papers and I hear someone say he gave her a message from her Mum. Anything else???

I don't think they're aware Jon can't win.Ray said a few minutes ago 'there's just five of us now and we're getting very near the finish'.

When do you all think the best time for them to be told Jon can't win is? I'd say after Step...oops, I mean 'the fourth placed housemate' leaves. Have him get up and say 'it's between you two now'.

They *have* to let the others believe Jon can win until the last possible moment. I'm just not sure when the last possible moment is.

I think he'll do it during the first eviction show next Friday.Davina will say 'the first HM to be evicted is......' and Jon will stand up and reveal all

Jon may have been a little arrogant or cocky, even, with that comment - but I don't see as it would offend anyone. The show would not be (imo) anyway near the same if everyone was such a 'stickler for the rules' as Cameron. When I think of BB1, the only thing I can remember besides Craig who gave the prize money away is Nasty Nick. I was glued to the TV watching Nick get people to nominate other ppl than they would have done already etc etc. I'm sure this is what BB and the viewers want - more opposition of BB. More rule-breaking. They never give HM's the boot - IIRC, Nasty Nicks outcome was left up to the other HM's to decide, they could give him the boot or keep him in. BB is happy if this sort of thing is going on. It gives the viewers something to watch, it gives the papers something to print, thus generating interest. I think BB would never throw anyone out unless they did something really, really out of order, ie, gbh or something :P. Do you really think C4/Endemol wants all of the HM's to go in there, hang on to every last word BB tells them and follow it out exactly as said, never question them, never break any rule? Personally, I don't. What would be entertaining about that? Of course, with exception to Cameron.

This time round, they've picked IMO too many 'sticklers for the rules'. Maybe the people wouldnt be so boring if they wernt all 9-5'ers interested in 'pleasing BB'.

Remember the night Scott/Nush got into the reward room? Hard to forget maybe, lol, but there was a specific conversation that went something like: Scott: 'im nice to BB, i think it helps' Nush: 'i agree, i always like being nice to BB'. That was a pretty ****ed up transcript I think (it is nearly 3am ... but the point is.. BB doesn't want the HM's crawling up its arse 24/7. The only one I have seen who doesnt buy into all the 'BB is so great' bit, is Ray... he's just about the only person left with a chance of winning there I think is honest.

I mean, imagine if they all sucked up to BB, never broke any rules, all sat around being nicey nicey to each other as most of this years HM's have done... you'd have a non-show. It'd probably be more interesting than watching paint dry.... but I don't know how much!

Really? Telling Nush to 'do RISE as they put you in a hotel in Kensington' - big deal. Asshole. Telling a penniless student to sue the newspapers...really sensible advice. What goddamn planet does he live on! Throughout the whole episode Jon achieved one thing -he made himself look a big tosser than ever...which I thought would have been impossible.

So you think that was a lie? You know this how? Big deal? Should he have consulted you to see what you thought was important enough for him to mention?

Hopefully not the same one as you! Nush doesn't have to take his advice and as a peniless student she'd have more to gain than most. I didn't hear any of this BTW. I wouldn't suggest suing a paper if you want to earn some money/fame from BB add to the fact you'd loose. Unless it was the newspaper who broadcast that message into the house

I think it's great he gave her tips - she'll have a headstart in dealing with outside world and big up to him for that "I'm not finished" statement!

The fact he genuinely seems to be acting in Nush's best interests makes him infinitely more worthy than any other HM in there bar Scott. Never was a Tickle fan, but with that answering back to BB thing he has just impressed me muchly.

Being two faced is so last season... Scott to win (the only one left with any integrity and no overt "issues")

Yep, classic Tickle. Risk his own ass to help a friend.
He said, outside the house, that everyone should have a friend like Scott. Well, I say everyone should have a friend like Jon.

i was surprised that jon spoiled nush's surprise on leaving,
in so far that as an ex-housemate, he told her what to expect when she left.
a lot of people thought that jon was great for saying all those things to nush, so who am i to disagree them
big brother was certainly not happy with him and called him to to the diary room to tell him so
at the end of the day a lot of what jon said to nush was private and should not have been broadcast by endemol

The way I see it, BB made a decision to put in an ex-HM with full knowledge of the outside world and told them they can't win but they're back in. If they are unhappy about Jon relaying information then that's just ridiculous. What exactly did they expect???

Why did Jon think nush needed telling live on TV about what to expect? It was a rather patronising and embarrassing thing to do - he must have felt it was worth it.

Was it because he knows that she, out of all the housemates, couldn't handle it? Because he knows that she's a media whore and will make a fool of herself like Justine? He even had to tell her not to lig. Tania (who is younger) has managed the media perfectly, why does he know that nush can't? Born ligger? Just patronising, or does he know full well that she will and therefore get a bad name for herself in the days after leaving the house?
