samsung plasma tv

anybody got a samsung 42 or 50 inch plasma tv.Doyou have horizontal lines on the screen.I have on mine even when switched off.Is this normal.

I have a ps42c7hdx Samsung 42" Plasma.

There are no lines on it at all, just a funny mark in the middle of the screen where my missus decided to spray furniture polish in the middle of the screen then let it trickle to the bottom before polishing it off. I get a red tint in the middle of the screen when watching a green/white background like a football pitch or snow.

No lines tho, sounds like a faulty panel.

I have the 50+ and there are no lines on my tv and my best m8 has the 50+ to and his is fine to

Yes same here..............the other half does not clean the equipment in this house

, thats my job.

M8 of mine as sammy plasma and has not complained of lines...................very nice tele infact.

Fussy, is there any way to re-coat the panel so I can get rid of the stain?

I'm assuming its just the purple coating thats been damaged by the polish.
