my decision for now is to return it

hey the moaning is to provide some balance! As I said a lot, my impression was distinctly rolls royce about the toppy if you just read the forums.

and I clicked search your posts, you're a fine one to moan about moaning!!!!

I'm surprised you think it makes a din, though - the one I have here is virtually silent - the two things I can hear in my living room are a) the fan in the TV and b) the Thomson box whining away.
That's a bit sad, Nige. All I can hear is the wife nadgering about something somebody did/said; I did/didn't do; and the cat scratching at the door trying to get in/out.

Can't you teach her to use the cat-flap? Oh, and leave a window open for the cat.

Just got back to the country recently and onto this forum again, and wow everything has moved on since 1 year and half! Nigel Forum is go huge! so let me know if I should buy a 5810.
