Possible Torchwood Finale Spoiler

This is taken from the IMDB forums. i cannot guarentee it is 100 true. but it does seem to fit in with what we saw at the end of adrift!

Apparently most of this is from a shooting script. The chances of it being true are 50/50, depending on the reliability of the source. The only thing we do know for certain - from fangirls witnessing a scene being shot in November that involved JB, James Marsters and a guest actor - is that Jack is stabbed by Gray at some point, during an argument in an isolated area.

2000 years? Cardiff wasn't around 2000 years ago lol. Plus doesn't these two deaths tie in with the rumours about a shake up?

Where is the crossover scene, how does Jack go back to the doc?

this sounded plausable untill the bit about jack just staying berried for 1900 years then being in the morgue.

I hope this isn't true sounds abit amateurish.

Nah, doesn't sound true to me.

If Jack was noticing aging from just 100 years, then 2000 would definitely make some visible impact on him, and from what he looks like in the photos from the Doctor Who finale, they've made no effort to age him.

Owen can't die because he's already dead, so being stuck in a room with radiation wouldn't kill him.

We don't need a crossover scene to Doctor Who though, from what I've seen the events of the season 4 finale are pretty public and take place over a decent period of time, so it makes sense that Jack would try and find the Doctor. If there's a crossover scene to this at the end of Torchwood then it would probably have to reveal who exactly is invading Earth and (although it's a terribly kept secret) they probably won't want to do that.

Oh FFS it is not. I loved Angel, was a fantastic show, but if this is what the Torchwood finale is like then it is in no way a direct rip off of Angel.

i gotta agree, being an avid Angel fan, i can pick up on some consitencies between the two series, and in particular this episode of TW.

John setting up the bombs, is like Connor setting up the bombs.

A brother who hates his older borther, is similar to Connor hating his father.

Tosh dying in jacks arms, well the only similarity to angel there, would require a total role reversal.

those are the only 3 similarities i could pick up on, if fraggle_bean knows more please say.

the episode does sound good but it sounds more like episode 12's description.

episode 12 spoilers below

Depending on how it's handled, I guess the video at the end could have a vibe like the one of Doyle at the end of 'Hero'.

Sort of.

I'd be intrigued to know how the already dead Owen is killed by radiation...

Okay, I honestly don't think that stuff is gonna happen. Even in the twisted way that Torchwood normally makes sense, that "spoiler" doesn't.

I think somehow there's been a crossed wire, because the first bit sounds too much like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - bombs all round Cardiff, explosive device fused to Captain John's skin etc. I somehow doubt they'd get rid of Tosh and Owen... no particular reason why, but I just think that, this year especially, they're an integral part of the team! But it would fit in with the rumour going round that
Spoiler

although I hope that doesn't happen!

i like owen but i think the character has kind of run its course, he is dead so what more can they do apart from properly kill him, you can't have 2 immortals in the show.

tosh well, take it or leave it really, probably my least favourite of the characters, i blame the scripts rather than Naoko Mori but there's no depth to the character.

i might get shot down for saying this but im hoping they dont kill rhys off, great character especially now he knows what gwen gets up to.

i hope not martha and mickey, plus if we had mickey that would mean mickey returns to this universe which means all sorts of things for the finale of S4 of DW....

it looks like these are fake, nothing in the trailer fitted with this (no weevils, weird rift stuff and the flashback has already happened differently!)

Whilst I'm sure it could easily have been a way to throw people off the scent I thought I read somewhere that Burn Gorman referred to returning for season 3 of Torchwood.

I couldn't care less if Owen dies, but if Tosh goes too, I'm tempted to give up on Torchwood all-together. The only character I really would LIKE to see die is Gwen, but sadly the writers seem to view her as some kind of female lead in the show when in actual fact, she's probably the weakest of them all. However, I never expect them to do this I think killing off Tosh would be a mistake at least.

Meh. Very very unsatisfying ending if true though.

Since the bombs all over cardiff thing's been done and the jack flashback was done differently and since that Tosh and Owen got out of the rubble fine I think this is just a load of old nonsense based on the big changes news article.

There again, the weevils are in the trailer :s.

I'm hopeing that they don't die, or that if they do, the reset button is pressed. Because if the rumours of Martha (even though she now works for Unit) and Mickey (even though he's from the other earth) joining torchwood are true, that will mean a 7 person torchwood

and a much more believable organisation for series 3 (if there is one).

But part of me thinks that it'll just be that Jack is taking Mickey and Martha in his SUV back to their respective homes (although, Mickey doesn't live on this earth lol).

Hope not though.

Having read the spoilers and seen the trailer for the finale, I think the spoilers look to be accurate. Given what we saw in the trailer
