Brocken LCD screen

I recently bought a Samsung S85 digital camera ... didn't want to spend to much in case I broke it .. which I did after 3 weeks!

Anyway, does anyone know if it is worthwhile trying to get the lcd screen fixed or just buy a new camera? I paid £75 for the camera.

Please excuse the spelling of 'broken' in the title !!

How did you break the screen? I only ask cos 3 weeks is a really short time, and unless you were doing something rough with the camera, I'd expect it to last a bit (!) longer than that or be covered by guarantee/warranty.

Dropped it on a drunken night out in Liverpool! Do you think that would be covered by the warranty?

Hahahaha!! Guess not, unless you'd asked the guy in the shop if it was suitable for such treatment prior to purchase

With all the sales on at the mo, I reckon you're best off getting a new camera rather than trying to fiddle with the one you busted, personally.
