Suzanne stories in Mcr Evening News

Suzanne's had a good bit of coverage in the M.E.N. as she's quite local...here's the link to some of the stories, including three "post-show revelations" type ones on Mon/Tue/Wed (sorry for delay, I have not been able to get online till tonight).

I heard violins in the background reading the 'counquering deamons' bit

Thumbs up to a young girl who found fame early only to see it ebb away - she's a determined young woman, with a backbone of steel, who could have gone down the same road as many others who, after 5 minutes of fame, disappeared into hazy obscurity.

Some may hear the violins - I hear the drum roll for a gutsy young woman who refuses to be written off.

Surely the more you have to overcome to achieve something, the more of a triumph it is, not the other way round.

Totally agree with you and very well said. I admire much more those who have hit difficulties along the way but refuse to give up, than those who have it easy yet still choose to go down the wrong road or allow success to go to their heads and think they can get away with anything.

That's why I admire Suzannes determination and especially Gareths, who although he's not getting the credit I personally think he deserves for his music is determined to try anything to enable him to continue with his chosen path. And he and Suzanne remain lovely with it as well.

I believe both Suzanne and Gareth entertained everyone at the Aftershow party on Sunday and got a very good reception from what I understand

Totally agree with this. Its why I found the treatment of Lisa Scott-Lee in Series 2 so awful...
