REC light not going off in front of box.

I am sure I have read about this before but I couldn't find the thread, so firstly I apoligise for that.

So sometimes I will set it to record something put the box off. then come back when it is finished and the fan is off and the box as normal but the REC light is still on sometimes.

Should I be worried about this?

If the box is recording the programmes properly with the correct start and end times, then there is nothing to worry about.

Just try switching it off at the wall, waiting 10 seconds and then switch it back on and see if the problem goes.

If the recordings are fine, the box is fine.

How long has it been doing it?

not too long, its not a problem to me and the recordings are all fine so far.
