Samsung LE37R87BD external speaker volume control

I've searched everywhere to find out if you can adjust the volume on the av audio output.
Unfortunately to no avail, i hope you can as i have a nice 2.1 system hooked up, but the only volume control is on the back of it

with your 2.1 system do you have it connected directly to the RCA ports on the back of the TV?

if so do you have a sound sync problem?

I have got about a 1-2 second delay between 2.1 and the headphones they call tv speakers
