What I find hilarious is they all sit round reading their bible and convincing themselves they are good christians who will be saved whilst behaving like vile creatures all the rest of the time. It's actually quite funny that they don't understand they have to live as christians not just do their time readin the bible!

Have you all seen the clip of James ranting at Shiela ? it was absolutely frightening! I can't believe he could speak to someone like that! he seems to think that it's not acceptable for the other housemates to talk about him/put him up for eviction/critisise him and goes mad when he finds out anything has been said about him! the guy is too serious, too cocky and just a complete prat. I seem to remember he went back on his word with Matt and he was laughing saying well this is Big Brother, shit happens kinda thing... utter tool.

hey buzzkilled, nice to read your article. I am absolutely addicted to big bro US, i think its fantastic.

I used to watch the UK big bros. The first two seasons were really good, but now its just boring. The public are getting bored of it, the housemates just aren't interesting anymore, they're just wanna be celebrities. It becomes tedious to watch every day, the housemates are just really dull and obnoxious to get heard.

To be honest I prefer the 3 shows a week concept, it makes it easier to watch and more entertaining. The scheming between the contestants is what makes big bro US so addictive and the tasks are really intuitive.

There are indeed advantages from both big brothers. Personally i'd like to see more of the "big bro persona" in the US version, because it kinda feels like the american lot aren't really that separated from the outside world. They must have producers and the like talking to them all the time (how else would each person know when to go to the diary room!!)

If your big brother had the UK censorship laws it'd be even more compulsive viewing, we can get away with a lot more after 9pm than you.

I hope the interesting season continues!! long live big bro USA!!

Hi Buzzkilled

Your article made for interesting and very shocking reading! I have completely had a turnaround on how I feel about some of those people after that. I suspected Chelsia wasn't very nice when she was evicted but I can't believe how bad she actually was, same with Joshuah who I actually liked at the start. My sympathies are now with Natalie again - I haven't liked Shelia much from the start but lots of people do so I thought it was just me (although she clearly is not as bad as Chelsia and Joshuah)

Anyway 'with that said' I still prefer the US version because they are so ruthless with the game play - and they try in the competitions. Our lot (as has been said) are just mainly lazy. You do get into it because we have the live feeds and the spin off shows etc but I don't find it as gripping as the US version. Also in the last year or two our version has really gone down hill and become a bit desperate. The HMs seem far more interested in what magazine deals and tv presenting jobs they will get after BB - they seem to just sit around waiting for the show to end so they can have their ready made fame. Tedious.

The religion thing is alien to our BBs - we don't see much of that at all - yet it clearly is a massive thing in the US. Interesting that there is no actual 'Big Brother' in your show - I didn't realise that - I just thought they didn't show the comments made back to them in the diary room. Who does talk to them in the Diary room then?

And we don't have the Jury house and the jury panel which I like - that is good twist I think.

One of my favourite parts of BB is the diary room - and in the UK we have Diary room uncut - which shows much more of their diary room rants - always interesting.

Sorry I have rambled on - but found this a very interesting thread to read.

NB: Just how many times did I use the word 'interesting' in that post!

The article was enlightening that's for sure. Joshua and Chelsia are obvoiusly even more vile than they appear. However I don't see Natalie as any sort of victim now. She's very sneaky.

Religion may be still big here, it's just that we don't ram it down people's throats - it's a very personal thing. So PERSONALLY I'm very offended by Natalie's shallow and utterly selfish disrespect and abuse of the bible - it's just wrong on so many levels.

Well that sounded a bit pious, a better way to put it would be that Natalie is ridiculous to believe God is somehow guiding her towards winning. All that she preaches may well turn around and bite her.

before chelsia left the house, and she smashed all her eggs and was bang out of order to her, natalie was right to rise above it though, walk away and make chelsia look like the idiot she is!
