The BBC have messed up again. I'd Do Anything will be on a Saturday, with the results on a Sunday.

I doubt they are going to bring them all back the next day, they'll probably record the result on the Saturday. If this is the case I suggest we follow the ways of the SCD fans!

Some forum members MUST have got tickets for the live shows of I'd Do Anything, so if someone is willing to PM their mobile number to someone whos going, and the FM who is going is willing to text the result they can send it. The FM who recieves the text puts it in a spoiler thread.

They may actually just get all the Nancys back the next day, after all they dont need big sparkly dresses and fancy hairdos. We'll have to see.

I think it is possible they will record all on the same day and just put it out on Sundays, as I know the girls are busy on Sundays preparing for the next weeks show, thats the day they learn thier new songs etc.

I think this will hurt the ratings, most people like the tension of having the results show the same night. Have it on Sunday and even the people who haven't heard through the grapevine have lost the impetus to care that much by Sunday.

I'm happy about it - it makes it more exciting to wait another day to find out!

Damn! I just hope the spoilers will help me out. SCD was murder this time round and I absolutely hated not knowing the result until the next day.

Ye gads don't the BBC read the forums and know we all hated SCD like this!! Fngers crossed we got FM's going every week and can tell us the result and fingers up to BBC

I think it's a good decision. There is never anything on Sunday nights around tea-time.

And aren't most people out on a Saturday night when the results are on???

I couldn't believe that that the BBc were going to do this again after SCD, i hated the way they ruined the tension (imo) and left viewers waiting till sunday night to find out the result. IMO the atmosphere etc was lost and I didnt feel as involved with the result as i would have been had i been waiting for the live results an hour later on saturday nights.

Clearly the BBc didnt bother about SCd viewers that complained or the amount of views on here and i suppose we will once again have to listen to Graham trying to fool us into thinking its being shown on a sunday and not recorded from the night before(i hated SCD for doing that).

Little i can do except moan and hope someone is going to the shows and can tell us who is gone just like those kind people over on SCD did - it was a great laugh waiting for the results to come in on a saturday night..hope this can happen with this as well

Personally I'm complaining BECAUSE I KNOW someone will do that and I don't want to know till I actually watch the show. Guess the internet becomes a no go zone again between Sat and Sun evening

Someone will definately post the results and ruin it for everyone else also there is not the same tension with the results show if we know it is pre-recorded.

If everyone agrees to put it in a spoiler thread though, I for one want to know!

I thought it was possible to avoid the results for SCD this year if you wanted to?

It was actually quite difficult to avoid the SCD results - the majority of people on here were very good about using the spoiler facility.

But there were also people who deliberately leaked results here and in other forums.

as long as us i'd do anything fans all stay to the point, IE only mentioning who went out in the spoiler thread until its shown on sunday it should work.

It suits me - I can watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on the other side instead - then watch I'd do Anything on iPlayer later - and then check the results on here afterwards.

It saves watching on Sunday. Less of an excitement - but it means I won't miss the ITV film now.

It has never worked with other shows - someone always slips up and if you come onto DS anytime between the shows you will know the results.

I'm with you, I can't bear waiting until sunday for the results. If we have one spoiler thread for people that want to know and FM's be kind and thoughtful and not blab in other threads I can't see a problem.

well i think this is the way forward of most reality tv talent shows now. XFactor is going to do it as well acording to reports i have read.

Have these people no DVDs to record the results and watch when they get home?
Then those who don't go out can see the results when they want to - Saturday night.

Have you any idea why, though?

I am so cross about this so typical of the BBC.

I can't help but wonder if the Beeb read DS, mainly the SCD thread. If they do they would have seen our OUTRAGE. And yet they do it again?!

Its so obvious its not live! If it was live on a sunday I wouldn't have a problem, but the fact its all over when you see it is disapointing.

its all being filmed on the saturday so ppl will know the results..

I dislike the Sunday results show.

After SCD you would have thought that the BBC would have cottoned on to the fact that most viewers don;t want to have to split their viewing over 2 days in order to hear the result. Hopefully there will be a FM at the shows and we won't have to wait!
