That is a very good point, Mr. Spielberg. (Is your first name Steven? ^_-) The TV critics have jabbered back and forth about the pros and cons of doing HDYSABLM and ADWD but there's no denying nearly every one of those candidates went on to do something succesful. If the Nancys are willing to put as much if not more work into their performances, I am sure many of them will get chances to advance their careers in MT.
I'd also say it's hard to tell until we get to hear the girls sing for a good 2-3 minutes individually so we can rate them better. I'm also looking forward to their group numbers like the Marias who did
Don't Stop Me Now. Here's just a few thoughts of my own. No spamming please.
-Francesca has been chided at across the boards for being the "favorite professional". The judges saved her for the top 12 despite a virus so I believe she'll have to be outstanding to prove she was worth saving.
-Jodie's already got a lively fan base going but I can't say for certain how long she will last. It depends on her ability to balance emotion and acting with her vocal abilities. I hope she stays in; she could bring a lot of fun to this show.
-Keisha's renedition from
City of Angels at her first audition blew me away. Can't wait to hear more from her.
-Jessie, Niamh, and Samantha might get the boot off for being so young but you never know. Keith Jack was 18 when he started ADWD but got voted all the way into the final. If they work hard then this show can bring out their best talents and give hopefuls like Jessie a chance to go in a career for drama. I think the girls are cute as buttons. (Niamh can come to New York anytime she wants to

)
-Don't forget the missions coming up. They're a reminder that the qualifications of a WE leading man or woman include confidence, stamina, drama, teamwork, and determination and not just a good voice. Otherwise I could go back to watching AI. *gag*
-Thank you for NOT making the Olivers cry or showing those who didn't get invitations. It'd be too much to bear.
