Naughty but nice, just the way I like it hee hee.

You are absolutely right thought, the best thing about final 12 is they are more likely than not, going to get work out of this, well lets face it, some of them were working anyway, so its all going to be goof for all of them whatever the outcome. Thats the beauty of these shows, there are no horror stories, unlike BB and X factor having ruined peoples lives after taking part.

Lewis was 17 Turned 18 during the lives if I remeber rightly

Plus they're no where near as harsh when auditioning. Some of the X factor judges comments are just cruel. Yes you need to tell them if they are awful, but theres a nice way to do it!

So if I can answer any of your queries I will.”

We had information last year from an insider on the show on another forum but then she started to get personal about the boys and slagged a couple off at every opportunity. It didn't make for nice reading and I don't think it was fair as this was her point of view.

I also read Chart throb by Ben Elton and although only a novel I could so believe how reality shows are edited to make the viewer vote a certain way. At least on ALW's show (whether orchestrated or not) the majority of the contestants end up with jobs unlike other reality shows.

Excuse me

Why should I feel obliged to comment on the Sunday results show when the thread title is:

I'll Do anything - Predictions for who will leave next week.

Now if I'd posted my comments here - you could be excused for your remarks - but I didn't.

I'm talking about the BBC reading our stuff. What is the matter you've blown up at two fairly innocuous posts today.

I am not sure if they chack PM's but I know they check these forums regularly, and if you give too much away they can guess where you et your info from.

It was meant to be a facetious remark

In response to your questioning of my posts and opinions.

Don't dish it out if you don't like it.

One was asking a question about your opinion which wasn't nasty in any way the other was a comment on the BBC which had nothing to do with your opinion at all.
Oh and that last comment was just unnecessarily childish.

I don't intend to perpetuate this - I don't have to; your sarcastic response to me says it all.

Perhaps somewhere into the series we might agree on who is crap and who blows the opposition into obscurity - if so fine; if not well my opinion is just as valid as yours - and vice versa.

I was being nice but Ignazio can't get it into his/her head that I was commenting about the BBC in their post and not their post in itself.

If this is nice - God protect me from the nasty.
I mentioned the BBC in one post (and explained to playhouse chick that my post was intended to be facetious). You saw fit to question this one as well.
My post.
Quote:
“If that's how it panned out I'm very surprised that Francesca was in the bottom 2 - but Amy would have been there (with Ashley) for me.”

Your response.
Quote:
“I can't see why most people on the board have said how badly she did yesterday, it may not be your opinion but I can't see why it would be a suprise?”

I didn't say Francesca sang well, I expressed surprised that she was in the sing off - two entirely different things. You've been reading into my posts things which, simply, are not there (in another post you assumed she was one of my favourites). If you feel compelled to to comment on my opinions make sure your remarks are based on fact not assumption.
Why do you feel any need to know the reason for my opinion. You've been very vocal in expressing your own opinion on this forum - have I asked you for an explanation? No - because it's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

Easy to start something, then hold up your hands and say, "It wasn't me, I was being nice."

You said the BBC read our messages and I said but they don't bother to listen to us about not showing the results on a Sunday. How on earth is that directed at you at all?
As for the other matter the point of a discussion board it to discuss things, not just to put your opinion and expect that to be sacrosanct. Why do you put your opinions on here if you don't want people to discuss about them? I feel no malice toward you, I don't see why you are taking this so personally.

I am sorry people, but I just have to say it, because it is frustrating me so much, I feel no malice toward TARA at all as a person, but I did not agree she should be in the final 18, or 12 and lst night just showed me that, she needs to go. I know she wont win anyway but I dont want to listen or watch her anymore. I hope she proves me wrong next Saturday but I am doubting she will, as she hasn't in any performance I have ever seen her do.

Surely nobody knows who is going to win at this stage or go out either, if its really on the public's votes.

I didn't say the BBC read our pm's I was making a facetious response to playhousechick. I actually think I misunderstood your response - if so I apologise, but you didn't make yourself very clear.

As for my opionion being sacrosanct, it's nothing of the sort. I didn't even express an opinion on Francesca's voice - simply expressed surprise that she ended up in the bottom 2 and imo your response questioning my comment was unneccessarily impolite

Perhaps it was unintentional - perhaps you should think a bit harder about the way you respond to others. And though I don't think it important that you see the reasoning behind my comments I will explain; I was surprised because of all the hype I'd read about her before the programme went out.

I hope this makes quite clear that;

Francesca is not my favourite.
I do not think she sang well on Saturday.
I do not expect others to share my views.
I do expect a reasonably polite response to an innocuous post.
Ok I accept your apology on the post on this thread, you did take me wrong which is what I've been trying to explain.
About the other subject lets agree to disagree on the matter. I still say it was a perfectly polite post but if you wish to take it the other way I can't help that.

Tara I thought she was awful. Nancy she is certainly not.
She would do alright in a girl band. Far too much of a pop act than a leading lady in a musical in my opinion.

Hi everyone! I always seem to be late joining in these discussions - am always getting distracted when trying to post as my two teenagers think I'm a bit odd wanting to talk about things like this!!!!! But when I mention that they are on MSN every night talking to their friends that's 'not the same'!!
Anyway, with the first show out of the way I think so far that Tara is the weakest of the ones that are left but it all depends on what they get given to sing.
I am a bit of a cynic but often wonder how 'stage managed' these type of shows are.... whether the next Nancy has already been marked out by ALW etc?

You are not coming across as showing no malice. And considering you are claiming to be in regular contact with all of them, I wonder if you have told Tara that you dont want to listen or watch her anymore.

I hope not. I thought that Keisha was superb on Saturday and I feel that Francesca has a lot more to offer.

I think it will be Ashley or Tara, neither were great last Saturday, neither would make a particularly good Nancy, based on what we've seen so far.
