I think you may have confused me with Spielberg, who is in contact with all the giels on a daily basis, I am in regular contact with some of the girls, and I am in only in contact with those I consider friends. I could make contact with TARA but I have no need to, although I have expressed my opinions about Tara to others on the show. From what I do know of her she is a very sweet girl and very nice, but that doesn't mean I should have to like listening to her. I just feel that her place is a spot that one of the other girls would have been better taking, like Helen for example, HelenFrench is defintely more of a Nancy that Tara is, in my eyes anyway, just my opinion

I agree, Keisha was fantastic, and I look forward to seeing more of her, I am not the biggest fan of Francesca, she is very talented but not the easiest to watch, but i agree he has more to show.
I think that the bottom two could be Tara and Ashley also, but it really depends on the performance this week, I know Ashley has more to give too.

I'd say the bottom two will be Tara and Ashley. That's not to say they are my bottom two.

Isn't that a similar line to what Louis Walsh said about Leon Jackson, first week in the X factor live shows?

I didn't confuse you, I mistakenly thought that your comment on the 26th @ 13:17 implied that you were in regular contact with all of them. Apologies.

Don't like to bring up the Scottish vote argument but I reckon Ashley will be safe for a few weeks yet

At this stage of the competition, unfortunately, I still feel votes will be coming for popularity as much as performance on the night.

Therefore, I think the bottom 2 will be Cleo & Fran.

The point about popularity vs performance is a good one. However, I imagine that Cleo does have a reasonable fan base as she was heavily featured, particularly in the first audition show and at that very early stage was a forum favourite, second only to Nancy Nancy. She disappointed me on Saturday, but personally, I want her in the competition to see if she can deliver on the early promise she showed.

As for Francesca, I imagine that for several reasons, they'll want to keep her in at least for another few weeks. With this in mind I can see her getting a brilliant song and lots of positive feedback from the panel. It might work and it might not. She certainly isn't winning hearts and minds at the moment, but an excellent performance may turn it around.

In these early stages, there's quite a lot of luck involved in who goes and who stays. Much will depend on song choices, we'll have to see how every one does on Saturday.

I'm hoping Francesca doesn't leave this week. She seems to be unpopular witht he public, and I'm not sure why. I think she's fabulous (I'll admit, I saw her in Rent:Remixed, where she was mindblowing-ly good... A side of her we haven't seen in IDA... yet)

I'm hoping Tara leaves this week. I can't put my finger on why I don't like her (I think it's a combination of her voice and manner-isms... she's just not Nancy for me!)

For me Tara has the most unique voice and would have probably done better on a pop idol/xfactor type show.
I agree she is a million miles of being Nancy.

No worries, I understand how you might have mis read that, I do know all the girls and have met them on several occasions, but I am only in regular contact with a few of them.

That's what I thought!

Personally I thought Tara and Ashley gave the worst performances in the first show, and I was amazed that at least one of them wasn't in the bottom 2, so it'll be interesting to see if they can turn it around this week.

I think Ashley has more potential to play Nancy than Tara (by a country mile!) and her song on Saturday was awful - so it will be interesting to see if she can improve with a better song this week.

I'm also wondering whether Francesca might get some sympathy votes from people who thought she shouldn't have been in the bottom 2. She also sang very well in the sing-off, to be fair.

it should be tara after last weeks dreadful performance..unless of course she pulls something amazing out of the bag.

Good Day All!
I think Tara will go. I was rather dissappointed with her performance of 'Suddenly I see'. Especially the way she ended the word 'see'. The tone reminded me of nails on a blackboard.
But then again she may prove herself a nancy yet!
I also dislike Francesca at the moment. I don't know what it is about her, I know she's a proffessional but I am not warming to her and preffered Amy to her last week!

I'm going to go with Tara because I thought she was the worst last week. But we're still at the 'anything could happen' stage, so I await the performances with interest. I think Tara, Francesca, Ashley and Cleo all need to do better than they did last week.

I'm going to say Tara, as I think she's been poor on both performances so far.

Hopefully Tara, unless she improves drastically - she's been the worst of the bunch for 2 weeks running and I have no idea how she's managing to escape the bottom 2 (or even the judges' "not nancy" comments).

If Tara doesn't go out, then probably Keisha or Ashley (who I can't take to at all).

I think that it depends entirely on song choice still at the moment - Francesca and Keisha have both shown how important it is to get a good song. If anyone gets a song that they struggle with, then they'll at least be bottom two.

I'm hoping against hope that people will suddenly realise Tara really is the weakest girl left, and she'll be going, because I really can't understand how she even made the top twelve at the moment...

Well, I'd say Tara, but I'm starting to sound like a broken record

I think that Keisha needs to put in a very good performance this week to be safe. And Ashley is another one that might be vulnerable. I don't think the Lord is very convinced by her yet, if she found herself in the bottom two I wouldn't fancy her chances.

I wasn't really talking about my own preferences. I have an idea that Andrew doesn't like her, hence her vulnerability if she's in the bottom two (though maybe not if she's in it with Tara )

In terms of her personality, she's actually one of my very favourites. She's an excellent singer and an accomplished actress, but somehow, it's never really come together in her performances. Something is lacking, I don't really know what. Maybe with the right song, she could turn it all around.
