Does anyone know where we can get repeats of all the series from the BBC, on DVD?

We can't I emailed once to ask, and they said they weren't planning on bringing out a DVD They're doing one of the tour though...

BBC Prime used to repeat the series of SCD, but I've only ever found BBC Prime in places like Cyprus etc.

Do not think there is ever a chance of a DVD of the series. I wrote a letter to the company that produces the DVD's for the BBC and asked about releasing all 5 series. They replied and said due to the constraints of music copyright and the time and complications involved in trying to get permission for all the tracks, that they were not looking at releasing DVD of the series
Can't understand how ITV can release one for dancing on ice though, surely they have the same copyright issues?
Guess we will all have to wait for the tour DVD.

I think that DOI use prerecorded tracks for the dances which makes a big difference.

I'd love for them to make the episodes available for paid download, so that instead of having to worry about losing money having produced a DVD set they could just let people download what they wanted and pass on the royalties as and when. *sigh*

I'm VERY suprised the BBC haven't done an ITV and want to make money by selling DVDs!

Well I'm amazed they haven't repeated series 1,2 etc.

Surely they could re-run the series in the run up to Strictly 6

I'd love it if UKTVGold had a marathon Strictly week and showed the entire thing, including ITTs. I've got most of it on DVD but some of it is pretty bad quality now from having watched it so much
