Some people on the C4 forums are posting that Jon has said he's very right wing and almost facist. I don't have E4 and there doesn't seem to be any live updates for today on this site yet, so can anyone tell me what was actually said, or has it been exaggerated?

Knowing the C4 forum I imagine it's something along the lines of:
"JON IS NOT FIT!" (to run a utopian socialist republic)

I like Jon, but he does have some pretty retro attitudes towards women, women working, and why they should be paid less. than men.

He's also made some naive statements about Europe and the Euro, but what do you expect from a white collar number cruncher from Staines?

But compared with Cameron he's Noam Chomsky...

I am NOT a Jon Hater! He's my favourite contestant by far, which is why I was concerned that people on the C4 forum might be misrepresenting what he said to make him look bad!

And Jason C, I'm sorry but every time I click on the LIve Updates for day 59 nothing comes up; it wasn't a criticism of you! Maybe it's just my browser that's faulty.

I'd like to make it clear that I LOVE Jon, and I just wanted to find out the truth about what was said because I was worried he might be being misrepresented by people on the other forum. Please don't hate me.

I'd like to say that I really appreciate the Live Updates as well, I read them every day I go online because you can't rely on the biased C4 site to tell the whole story.

So every time Jon says something offensive it's just a joke but any other HM making a bitchy or offensive remark and it's a criminal offence worthy of corporal or capital punishment.

I don't think you understand the meaning of the term 'double standards'. It does not apply here. Jon made a joke, the official site reported it, I referred a poster to the official site.
