Has your preceptions of the remaining HM's changed?
Kirsty Scot
20-07-2003
I was just wondering, as I have now stopped watching BB, (but can't seems to stay away from this forum) if now that BB is almost at an end have any of you changed your opinions on HM's (those still in there).

on Day 1
Cameron - I thought would be one of the first out, seemed very quiet, overweight, not in the least bit fanciable, funny accent (I am Scottish by the way) and I felt immediately protective of him, and went for a number of weeks still thinking he was a nice guy. Now I think he is a sanctimonious, manipulative, backbiting, cowardly git

Steff - Again did not think she would last long, as there were other far more attractive girls in there, and she also appeared quiet at the begining, I think I liked her and found her inoffesive until Tania left, and then by god did we see the other side of her, now it could have been that I had not been glued to the telly and therefore did not notice it before or perhaps it is the fact that she is now in the pocket of the aforementioned sanctimonious git that has made me dislike her intensly, oh and that screaching voice of her's I would like to put my fingers over her windpipe

Ray - Thought he was full of himself, a lad about town, a womaniser, really took an instant dislike to him, and in the few weeks when it was him Fed and Scott my intense dislike just grew and grew, Now I think he has real problems, I think a lot of my inititial impressions were his mask that he wears to hide a very insecure person with a very volitile nature, which is fuelled by alcohol. But I now feel sorry for him.

Scott - Don't remember having any initial thoughts about Scott, didn't like him much when he was part of the three amigos, have grown to like him a bit in the last couple of weeks, but not a great deal, to be honest don't have much of an opinion on Scott now!!! but have decided out of the bunch left I hope he wins, but I now seriously doubt it

Kirsty,

Haven't watched this BB as much as others - haven't taken to many of the HMs except for John and Scott. Can't give up the Forum though - I haven't posted much but have been lurking and most nights have been in stitches over the posts on here.

Re my perceptions of the HMs:

Scott - I liked from the beginning, that hasn't really changed. I would have liked him to have more oomph though at times.

Ray - didn't like from the beginning, still don't. Especially his disloyalty over Nush.

Cameron - didn't like or dislike - now I find him the most offensive of all the HMs - like a lot of Christians he is most unchristianlike - smug, judgmental, intollerant, sly and bitchy.

Steph - I quite liked early on but she has turned out to be really bitchy, jeolous and manipulative.

So, would like to see Scott win - he is a genuinely nice guy.

Hope next year they pick a few more characters though - roll on BB5.

I didn't like Scott at all for weeks, not one bit. I liked Ray and thought he would win. I also liked Cameron. I was indifferent to Steph.

My order of preference now is:

1. Scott
2. Ray
103rd. Cameron
104th. Steph

Shelley,

oh good, you've seen the error of your ways!

Cameron - I hate to admit it but I liked him when he first came into the house. I eluded myself by the fact that he was a fellow Scot and wanted him to win. It didnt take long for my dislike to grow however when he revealed his nasty dark side and now I can't stand the man.

Steph - I disliked her from the very start I felt she was very bossy from the start and always had to be the one cooking, making tea or running to the DR when BB shouted. She grew on me a bit when she got drunk as she was quite funny but since about week 4 when she turned on Nush and also Lisa's arrival I found her to be a manipulative, wily bitch.

Ray - I always thought underneath the smile was aggression and I was correct. His treatment of the women in the house I did not like particulary last week when he dragged Nush over the bed with her injured foot and caused her to slip and fall by pouring water over her. Throughout he has also struck me as the person desperate to win the money and he has proved this numerous times. He reminds me of Jonny Regan

Scott - I have liked him from the start. I enjoyed his late night chats with Fed. He's been a decent lad throughout and has always joined in the fun but knows his limits. His will they wont they romance with Nush was a joy to watch. Now that Jon has returned he has become a lot more friendlier with him and so we are getting more late night chats like he had with Fed.

It's nice to know I am not alone, at least we did see the error of our ways with Cameron it is just a pity that the people who are still supporting him cannot open their eyes and see the true Cameron, or is there just a chance that they are like him, and therefore approve of his sneeky cowardly behaviour (I excuse all the old woman, their eyesight is probably not what it was)

nope

I switched off the highlight show yesterday out of boredom, to get as usual in a fight here

I think the last week should be shortened this is now really dire, most reality TV is based on the hope something happens and with them u are sure nothing will happen,. so thats that over and all is left is to defend Jon and ask WHY about Cam

Cameron - liked him from the start and still do, despite his ups and downs he's been a decent chap.

Steph - thought she was a bit brainless at first, but seemed quite nice and caring. Still think she's daft and she's okay sober, but she's really annoying when drunk.

Scott - I didn't know what to think of him at first, he was so quiet and guarded. He still is. If he were a bag of crisps then he'd be salt and shake, without the salt i.e. bland.

Ray - Thought he was a great guy at first, and he seemed to go out of his way to talk to people and be friendly with them. Now I think he's got a wee bit too much of a temper and a tendency to fly off the handle at the slightest thing. Also another person who should stay off the drink.

Strangely enough, 1% of Christians in America don't believe in God. Work that one out, because I can't

The only people I've had a change of heart about are Scott and Ray.

I liked Scott at the beginning. He's a fellow Red, and I was expecting some good scouse humour from him, but he's proved to be a complete waste of space, and just doesn't like to commit himself when it comes to having an opinion on things. Can't say that I've really learnt anything about him.

Ray, I didn't like, but I quite like him now. Ok, he's a spirited soul, but there's nothing wrong with that. At least he's show some emotion in the house, unlike his bland mate Scott.

Pretty much sums up my opinion too - Scott may as well not even be in the house for all the 'personality' he has shown us.
