Regarding splitting the group up between "jocks" (are we American?) and "minorities" (whatever you meant by that), or between posh people and ordinary people - I disagree. He split them off because they had proven to be incompetent and he was giving them a chance to redeem themselves.

I thought it was a mistake because you could see Raef was defending Nick earlier on, so I would have kept them seperate so they didn't band together in the boardroom.

How can you describe Nicholas as "dark"? Unless you mean from the dark side, in which case I wouldn't argue.

Also Michael is Greek which means he is an olive-skinned caucasian.

I think it was Nicholas', Raef's and Michael's already existing complexes that made them think they were being exiled.

Michael comes across as someone who will say and do whatever he thinks will win him the most favour at the time and Raef and Nicholas have the typical attitude of someone over-compensating for their insecurity by appearing cocky and boastful.

I couldn't agree more.

Don't get me wrong. I completely agree. I'm just saying that Nick/Raef/Michael obviously thought otherwise (they're not going to identify themselves as incompetent are they?) and obv thought inverse snobbery was the real reason.

Just did myself an injury laughing at this comment on the Graun's blog, from someone called Catcher:

"I've just seen the picture of Nicolas de blah-blah on the TV blog. That facial hair is what a friend of mine used to refer to as "a perineal tickler". Just thought I'd share."

Nicholas was spectacularly inarticulate in the boardroom but basically his comments about art and football were correct.”

I don't know whether to agree with you or not - is "white jocks" a reference to underwear or horses?

This is good, thank you. It's a shame that Grace Dent is off doing something else this year though.

A rose by any other name? A chinless wonder by any standards!

It's quite often me, I'll confess! There's a good reason for that, there's are far too many of these incessant gay-guessing threads populating the boards. I get very tired of the repetitive gay-guessing threads, even more so if started by pompous little clipboard carrying types who sabbotage a thread I genuinely start in a sense of fun and enquiry just because the subject, although different, is a bit like another thread, as has happened. Not that I'm suggesting the OP would do such a thing, of course, but it has happened. However this time I think that at least 3 of the men are gay. Obviously Nicolas, probably Raef and there's one who's name I can't remember. Dark-haired chap, another chinless wonder type. This series should probably be renamed The Gay Apprentice. I am quite surprised the OP had to ask though, why do you need other people's opinion on it? So you don't make a food of yourself if you ask him on a date or something?

The really pressing question of the show so far for me has been Does Alex Look Like Rob Kazinski? But I wouldn't want to go off topic

The REAL question is...

Is Kevin Shaw the only gay in the village..?
