I don't think Raef is Asian , his last name certainly isn't!

As I said before Raef is Iranian, making him middle eastern. My middle eastern friends detest being called asian, they think its the height of ignorance.

Actually a friend just told me that Bjayou is either lebanese or Iraqi.....either way I find him very good looking!

Raef is the new Rory - bloody hilarious, but completely unintentionally!

And Syed remains the best Apprentice contestant ever!

I think this is the kind of guy you "love to hate" in a program such as this. his abstract sentences and use of words is amusing.
No doubt entertainment value, but he wont win I dont think.

Raef was funny. The only contestant from that episode who was entertaining.

His "Prince & Pauper" comment and the way he tried to justify it was the highlight of the night. The male contestants all seem to be cockney/northern wideboys and the women are stuck up bitches so hopefully he'll stay in for a few weeks, at least.

How long before Sir Alan starts to call him Ralph (in reference to Ralph Fiennes) to try and take the piss out of him?

He was odious, unprincipled and very stupid.

Iran is an Asian country in the middle east.

It's not that black and white. Nothing in life is. On the Western map it may be part of Asia but on their map it is not and that should be respected.

The western map seems to group a massive variety of people of different religions and races under the miscellaneous Asian category. Understandbly you can see why many would dislike this.

Anyone who has travelled extensively would also be able to see how utterly incorrect it is.

Who is to say the western map is gospel? I certainly don't agree with its divisions.

well pakistan is grouped as part of the greater middle east, but pakistanis dont call themselves middle eastern. that whole area of iran/afghanistan/pakistan lies in the middle of arabia/central asia/south asia...so people from that part of the world can describe themselves in many ways.

technically speaking, from lebanon/syria/jordan begins asia. those teams play in the asian cups and the asian games. middle eastern is just a term to put 'arabs' in one category, even algerians and moroccans are referred to as middle easterners but they are not part of the middle east.

western asian is another term used to describe those from lebanon/syria etc.

iran is unique. its not arab, but is classified as part of the middle east. this is for strategic reasons, which is evident in the way people now wrongly assume pakistan to be in the middle east...its just a way to put all muslims in one category.

Tre on the other hand for all his headstrongness was actually very bright and alot of the time just frustrated when the others were messing up. I never saw any REAL nastiness in Tre.”

I view it the other way - I saw no redeeming features in Syed or Tre. The were arrogant, aggressive and most of the time utterly wrong in their assessment of events. Not at all team players and I saw real nastiness in some of Tre's comments (esp the French task.) He just got away with it because it was his personality and "humour". Raef is hugely irritating and clearly does not want to work for Amstrad but he is soo obvious with his intentions, it is amusing. And his turn of phrase is funny - there are too many opportunities to laugh at him ...

Syed did it for me in terms of entertainment value. OK, he was arrogant, but it was the swings from amazing to hopeless he made every episode that made it so entertaining.

Don't forget how good he was in the boardroom - disposing of team leaders Ben, Alexa and Tuan, whilst also almost shooting himself in the foot most of the time as well! And by the end, it just got to the crazy stage of almost committing fraud! Classic Apprentice.

After all, if everyone were perfect and always made the best business decisions, it wouldn't be the show we all love!
