Where do you stand on the issue of pipes? Clan tobacco is quite aromatic and pleasant. It's been a while since I smoked one but next time I do, and the wind is right, I'll blow some over towards Glasgow and you can let me know

Cigarillos are about as far as I'll go. Those little slim Hamlet cigars are the most repulsive things going, Had a housemaster at boarding school who smoked them first thing in the morning and woke us up smoking the vile things around us. Made me feel like vomiting every morning.
Good quality cigars are nice and rich smelling though but I prefer pipe tobacco smells. Reminds me of how the house used to smell when my Dad smoked a pipe back in the early seventies. Sort of comforting really to smell a nice lit pipe.

My apologies. I shall ensure the wind is in the opposite direction when I light up "auld reekie" next time. Unless you were referring to me, and not the smell of the smoke

Never smoked a pipe, my dad did, the sight of him cleaning it and seeing the gunk that came out was enough to put me off.
