"Cameron, a born-again Christian, has provided some of the best moments of this year's Big Brother."

Did he when ?

Last week he claimed he had a secret to tell and new evictee Nush reckons she knows what he's talking about.

She claimed he'd told her that he was still a virgin, but mum Doris howls with laughter at the suggestion. She said: "Cameron will laugh his head off at that one."

Wooooooo so cam is a hotty then

Car-daft Cameron has said he'll splash out on a Ferrari or Aston Martin if he scoops the £70,000 prize."

This is getting more christian by the minute

Cool, a car mad non-virgin is the role model then

Lets face it Cam is gonna be the big hero of this BB4 and there is fcuk all we will be able to do about it

Wouldnt mind a Ferrari myself

Blimey Matt B! Bless me for I have sinned.
It is two years since I became a Christian and I have driven my car every day since then AND I’m not a virgin . Thing is though, when I was being inaugurated they never mentioned that by having sex AND owning a flash car (Oh the shame of it ) I was being unchristian. Do you think I should sue for false information leading to defamation of character?

was a joke

Its just a funny role model thats all I have no problem with it as I said i wouldnt mind a Ferrari myself

Normally role models are perfect (i.e a Vauxhall Astra would be enuff ), maybe its time for an imperfect role model like Cam. And following Victorian principles he had sex be4 marriage shock.

Just funny

I don't think Matt quite meant it like that. Christians have to get from A to B like the rest of us. My wife has a Yaris, and I know another Christian who has a disabled scooter. I did have a Yoga teacher who drove a Porsche though, but he used to work in the City.

However, the point is that if you place £70,000 into the hands of a Christian, you probably wouldn't expect them to spend on a very expensive car for themselves which they would 'drive like a lunatic'. Christians are encouraged to be charitable, think of others, serve others, give to the poor, and sacrifice themselves. Cam's plans for the cash in this light do look pretty unChristian.

(EDIT - oh well, I didn't get the joke. I kinda agreed and nodded my head. Sorry to have misunderstood.)

70k won't buy him a new ferrari or aston . Talking of Cams love of cars Jon did ask him what his ideal car would be but never got an answer, I would have thought he would have jumped at the chance to talk of cars but didn't. Whats the betting he knows nothing of cars but only said it to look good

we don't know what he actually intends to do with the cash if he wins, it is mere conjecture by his mother that he will splash out on a flash car, not his own stated intention...

Right-o. I don't think you could call it conjecture though. I was just following Matt's quotes from the interview with his mum. Matt said that she said that he said he'd buy a Ferrari or Aston Martin. I doubt that that was a joke because Cameron is quite keen on cars from what I've heard.

It's only to be expected from a paper like the Daily Ranker, when they are in their biased mode there is no stopping them.

If it's OK with the rest of you, I'll start up a new 'Cameron's winnings - what to spend it on' thread. This is a jolly good discussion and the thread title doesn't tell it how it is.

Hmmm, just read an article on Motley Fool about buying a car which quoted a survey from Yorkshire bank. last line of the article is
Quote:
“Whatever you do, don't buy a Ferrari. Apparently 43% of women think that Ferrari owners are compensating for something!”

You're right there. I must do better in future. Too many saids.

Matt said that the Daily Record said that Cameron said he'd buy a car. I thought the article was based on an interview with Doris so wrongly assumed the source. Who knows who the source is?
