Newbie saying thanks.
Hi people i would just to say a thank you as i found some info on here which has helped me get a BT installation date which suits me after 3 weeks of trying.
I am moving house and we get the keys in the afternoon of the 4th April so we needed an installation date from the 7th April but after booking a new line on the BT website they booked a date for 3rd April, i rang them back and told them that we do not get the keys till the 4th but because my order was in the system it could not be changed so i went through all my details again and booked in for the 7th and then i had to be put through to the on-line team to cancel my on-line order. Anyway a few days later i got a text message from BT confirming my installation date 03/04/07 so this morning i spent about an hour trying to get the date changed but i got passed from pillar to post all thanks to BT India who had no idea what they could do so i came on here as a guest and found a thread with the BT re-connect phone number which i rang and the guy on the other end was very helpful and understood the problem and i now have an engineer coming out on the 7th April. Can i just say that all the BT folk based in the UK have been very helpful in this issue but please BT train your overseas staff to understand and speak english. |
