I think it's out of order people who don't like Alex are coming on this thread to bash him. Please show a bit of respect guys.

Sorry , I know this is an Appreciation thread but I have to contest this.

What about when he lied in the BR about not trying to slip out of the role of being deputy manager in the fourth week which Margaret pulled him out for?
He said he was happy to do it if Simon didn't delegate responsibility for all decisions. He did not lie.

He would argue he was happy to be deputy leader under some conditions. Now whether you call that backing out is another matter. He was obviously wary but he did NOT just back out. So you cannot accusing him of lying, and I don't think Margaret would accuse him of lying.

I can get them back by shaking the champagne so hard that any thread or poster turning against Alex will become drenched. At worst, their threads will become so soaked that they will be unreadable. Hopefully, it will get in their eyes and they will be stinging so much that I can push Claire/Lee/Helene off everyone's TV sets while they're not looking. Then they will get fired. Neat, eh?

Am I still invited?

Oh yes - the more champagne shakers the better.

Me too babe - for so many reasons!

If he does I hope those who are driven to suicide do it by drowning - much tidier than other forms of felo de se.

Not an Alex win then - but no reason to let the champagne go flat.

imo the Alex/Helene campaign by far outclassed that of Lee/Claire - but perhaps that is why I don't buy perfume/cologne in Tesco. Having said that it is all over for another year - good luck to Lee and I'm sure I'm not alone in offering Alex a shoulder (?) to cry on.

Cheers folks!

Good luck to all of them.

If they have learned from this process there are none (not even Michael) who cannot make a sucess of their lives in a business environment.

On the assumption that was a positive comment - feel free to join us on the Champagne thread.

Goodnight folks - I'm sure the lovely Alex could keep me up all night - but in his absence work must take priority.

Good luck, pretty boy, you did us proud.

I wonder what the maximum bid was for the company of Alex? The link has expired. Would be interesting to know the level of interest he has had. I bet Ignazio hogged the whole website and fought 'til the end! So that explains the lost link...

Oh dear - I forgot about the lovely Alex.

I've been busy waxing lyrical about Mr.Poetry in Motion - Federer.

I was going to ask whether that was because he is a winner, but since he's a runner up. I understand your like for Federer though. Good tennis player. I'm a fan also.

Did no-one see Alex on Big Brother's Big Mouth last night? He was well fit (as they say) and has obviously taken on board the comments about the 5 o clock shadow and birds nest hair.
