Car Accessories for iPod
Al Bino
28-03-2008
Hi guys.

Started driving and need a decent set up in my temporary car (my Dad's until I get my own, which won't be for 2 or 3 weeks). iTrip/FM Transmitter is out of the question because the stereo up picks up actual stations. I can't manually tune it to find a non-station. Don't have an auxillary port either.

I am pretty sure that in work, we used to sell a device that would charge your iPod and play it - it just worked through the cigarette lighter and the iPod/MPs headphone jack. I am even convinced I recommended it to people on this forum a few months ago!

I can't find any such device online. All there seems to be is FM transmittors and AUX/Stero cables.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Have a look at ilounge.com there is a whole section on car accessories. If it is not there then it doesn't exist.

Denison ICE link is about a swish as it gets but it's not cheap .... (Approx £100 IIRC)

Have a google .... plenty info on it floating about the 'net ....
