I have an upgrade coming up in the next few weeks, and I have been thinking about which phone I would like. I am currently using the Nokia 6288m which I think is great.

But, I've been told the N95 is a great phone - is it worth upgradding to this new model?

Opinions please!

There are a multitude of threads on the N95, why not have a look through them. Also the N95 is far from new. Indeed its replacement, the N96, will be with us in the summer.

the answer is that it is worth upgrading yes.

the n95 has a slightly different interface than the 6288. it's more like the 6600, or 6630 if you've ever used one of them.

if you can afford the 8gig one then that's even better. bigger battery too.

personally i'd stay away from the even better phoneis just round the corner mentality because you could be there forever. plus the n96's big toy is the dvb-h decoder which wont work in the uk.

i don't think anyone can tell you 'to get it.' but it's a great phone. that's all i would say. and i just don't see the point waiting for the n96 as just after that they will announce the n97....
