What no sound

I decided to catch up with all the programmes i'd taped. All was going ok until I tried to play Coronation Street. It had taped ok but there was no sound. Also taped Steven Segal movie on 5USA and it had no sound either. All the other recordings before and after are ok.

Anyone had a similar problem recently.

Could it be the type of tape you're using in the 9200?

There's a soundtrack button under the remote control flap (speaker ?), could this have been pressed at the time of the recordings?

On Boxing day I had the situation where there was no sound on Ch 5 and other channels on the same multiplex. After a few hours of this condition I rang Ch 5 who said they'd had a couple of calls about it but those people didn't know what transmitter they were using. I gave them specific details and within the hour it was fixed. I notice your problem is not limited to one multiplex so I doubt if this is helpful.
