Cherry Coke has changed its name to Coca Cola Cherry - how pointless. Cherry Coke just sounded better!

I love Cherry coke, and really don't see the point in renaming it! Jif, Cif, Marathon, Snickers...............all pointless!

Did they not get rid of this for a long time and bring it back just recently under the new brand? Today's the first time I've had it in 15 odd years, tasted just like I remember it and I'm addicted Anyway, it'll always be Cherry Coke to me!

BTW, does anyone remember when Coca-Cola cans just used to say 'Coke', like this?

You often see them in films from the 70's and 80's, but maybe that's just America.

I bought a 2litre bottle of Cherry Coke last week for the first time in ages, I noticed the colour of the label was different but not that it was now Coca Cola Cherry. I still call it Cherry Coke .

Does it taste different to anyone else? Or is it just me

I didn't like 'Cherry Coke', I thought it tasted watery and slightly like chlorine, but I love 'Coca Cola Cherry'

I'm actually addicted to cherry coke, I'm sure of it, it tastes so amazing and I much prefer it to coke.
I think they were trying to sound classy or something with the recent rebrands, as demonstrated by the newish bottle redesign, but I doubt it worked. Coke's alwasy going to be coke, coca cola cherry is just too long when you could say cherry coke in half the time.

Rebrandings are often done in order to unify brands globally .

But British Cherry Coke tastes different to the German Cherry Coke you can get in certain corner shops.

I agree. I don't like regular Coke at all but Cherry Coke is fantastic.

Overall, I drink mostly regular Pepsi, especially with meals, though their new tasting Cherry version is also quite good and comes close to matching Cherry Coke.

I like Cherry coke, or whatever its called now ... I wish it was in fridges instead of Cokesi Max .. sorry, Coke Zero

I haven't had cherry coke for ages, but it is my fave - why can't we get multican packs of it etc

I also liked coke Vanilla, but not as much as Coke Orange.

Are Coke still supporting their detox / anti oxidant stuff ... I wonder how long that will last, seems expensive and isn't very tasty.

I love Cherry 7up too ... now that is hard to find

It's good, but I still say the humble British contender, Cherry Tango, tastes more like cherries.
