Does anyone know what next weeks theme is going to be?

Well that's someone who shouldn't still be there safe for another week.

It will be interesting to see how David C rocks his way out of this one!

Here are a few guesses

Kristi- she'll do 9-5
Brooke - Don't it make my brown eyes blue
Ramiele - How do I live without you
Carly - Crazy
Syesha - not sure
David A
David c- Coward of the County
Jason - Annies Song
Michael- Rinestone Cowboy

Well according to some people he will just copy one of Doll's arranements like he has copied everything else

Kristy likely to be safe for another week then , not a theme i imagine will sit too well with Syesha

I agree Syesha could struggle a lot with the country theme. May end up in the bottom three

I think the bottom 3 will be Syesha, Carly and Jason C

If that is the case one of the girls will go

I heard it's only Dolly Parton songs.

My guess is David Cook will do 'Jolene' ala the White Stripes version which should be awesome and no doubt Ryan will make a point of it being the White Stripes arrangement, whatever, I don't care, it'll be fantastic

He'll do Carrie Underwood - "Next time (s)he cheats" - Nirvana - stylee.

She should do Do Right Woman - Aretha Franklin - but originally a country song.

Ooh good call, I hope so. I'll be disappointed if he doesn't do this now .

I am not sure about Jolene, it is too obvious now. I have the feeling that we are going to have a surprise.

But if he did, it would be AWESOME

Actually, what would be better would be if he did a rocky arrangement of a different country/Dolly song. So Jolene-esque, but another song. I'd quite like to hear Brooke doing Jolene.

I think Kristy has become the Haley Scarnato of this years Idol. Country week gives her a free pass to the top 8 (which I think is as far as Haley got).

I would be surprised if he did a cover of cover this week. He is going to do his own arrangement. Of course, they have very little time, so it will have to be something suitable that he only needs to tweak, not a complete re-write.

Agreed, I think it would suit her...although I think there are quite a few Dolly Parton songs she could do something with...think she'll be sans-piano this week. Hope someone does 9-5...imagine Dolly Parton week without that

If it's Country, rather then Dolly Parton, then something by Keith Urban could well suit David C - I'm thinking 'Hank Don't Fail Me Now' possibly (yes, I have a Keith Urban album and don't mind a bit of Country ) Or something by Johnny Cash maybe.

Yes, Keith Urban or Johny Cash would be good. Any song with soul would suit him.
