I saw a recap of the performances last night. Only a few of them sounded alright. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

I'm not too sure yet - some of them seemed a bit 'shouty'! Perhaps it was first night nerves and they need to settle down a bit. Definitely doesn't seem to be as cut and dried as Connie and Lee in the other shows. I didn't think anyone stood out as the obvious winner. What you all think?

I think some sounded great, and some sounded awful, but on the whole I thought the comment from the judges that made most sense, was telling some of the girls to bring it back a bit, it was the first show and they were all going for it, but some too much and were losing control of thier vocals. It is no good trying too hard.

The group number (Sound of The Underground) was shocking!!!!!!!

They are all good singers IMO, better than anything on X factor so far.

To be fair most of them are musical theatre singers being forced to sing pop songs (and often rocky ones at that) I don't see how being able to sing Sound of the Underground is any way related to being able to play the part of Nancy.
